My name is Taryn, though some people call me Tara. I was born and raised in California. I'm Japanese-American. My mom is Japanese, and my dad is American. I have 1 younger sister by the age of 13.
People were asking, so I'll answer it here: No, I'm not fluent in Japanese, I was after all, born and raised an American. But since my mom and her family are Japanese, I have picked up a few phrases. But, they're more classic not slang--which is like the Japanese today.

My favorite band is this Jpop group Arashi!

Aiba Masaki is my favorite member from there, and my favorite pairing is Sakuraiba [ShoxAiba]. Surprised that it's not the oh-so-famous Ohmiya? Hehe.

I learned about Arashi by being Jun-bait. I watched Kimi wa Petto then BAM! Next thing I knew, I was googling Momo's character. I saw he was in a band and I checked it out. Aiba caught my attention, and here I am. ♥♥♥
