My
Tags are what I'm guessing will be my permanent obsessions, because I'm insanely possessive and slightly schizophrenic that way (blame the internet, and alarming amounts of candy and coffee).
Preferations? I like
Manga more than
Anime (hardly watch at all, actually), but mostly I dig the Drama genre. Why else would I chase after Shoujoshit, hm? It certainly isn't for the action (I get that with
movies) . . .
But mostly, in this anime-loving race, I'm all about:
HONEY AND CLOVER -- Because you can
never get enough of the cleanly done art, character depth, and humor-and-drama combos.
SILENT HILL (
horror games, in general, but not as much as SH)
GOLD RUSH 21, which I bet you have never even
heard about. It's the sweetest one-volume manga I've read so far, and mind you, I've read a whole damn lot of sweet manga.
and maybe
FRUITS BASKET, but in its manga-verse, which is longer, more dramatic, and hell of a lot better. Ah Shigure-and-Hatori-and-Kureno-and-Akito-and-everyone-else~
-----But as for right now, in the very-much happening present, my Current obsessions would be:
OKIKU FURIKABUTTE,
or, simply, Big Windup!
Which is relatively strange, because I don't know
squat about baseball; can hardly even pronounce the dumb show's name.
SOUL EATER. I mean, the story is so-so, the art is very Square Enix, and the humor is okay, but the character designs are to die for, and the animation's too smooth to miss out on.
HONEY HUNT---HOORAY for unpredictable Love-Triangles (or squares, so to speak). Once again, I am a sucker for everything to do with couples of a fairly wide age gap, specifically when the older one's the guy. And I have absolutely
no idea if
this couple is an actual plot or if I'm just being ridiculous. That really helps keep me interested.

aaand
SKIP BEAT!---I mean,
come on! Who
isn't?! I'm more or less digging the Manga a lot more though; no change there. The only difference now is that I'm part of the rare other-half that ships awesome love/hate goodness between Sho and Kyouko. (Ren's the bomb, though. They're all wonderful, really.)
