I'm an ancient fan of anime and Japanese culture, going back to a misspent youth watching Robotech and Godzilla movies. Since then, I've matured into a love of Macross, Studio Ghibli and a lot of "Steampunk" anime. I'm finally living the dream of going to Japan in November of 2009 as well!

In the mean time, I'm an avid fan of Victorian-Edwardian Scientific Romances (aka: "Steampunk"), Gothic Horror, history and prehistory, palaeontology and archaeology, travelling, and old movies.
