What isn't there to like about YUI, honestly? She can play the guitar, sing really well, is pretty, and in interviews/radio shows seems really cute/shy and down to earth. She's super famous, and really almost purely on talent it seems. She's a jeans and t-shirt kind of girl, but has had more than one #1 album in Japan =). If I had to say it, she's another woman crush XD!

She started writing poems when she was 16, and then developed an interest in music. After talking to band she liked at the end of their concert, they suggest she join a private music school, and so she did. Dropped out school, and started studying guitar/songwriting at a private school. In true amatuar music style she did street performances outside a train station and carried her guitar around to local places to sing. She has 14 singles, and 4 albums. Recently she announced she was taking a break from her music career until sometime in 2009.
