Ohh i remember now.. magnetic flux~ ^_^ but i still can't understand how data is "wiped out"~ oh well, maybe it's because data is stored as electric signals and the signals are distorted by the magnetic field of the magnet *ugh NOSEBLEED><*

How do the particles get accelerated when u poke a magnet @ the LCD? the magnetic field of the magnet causes e` to jump to a higher energy orbital? or it causes them to move thru a conductor faster there4 creating a power surge thru d LCD?
