I love reverse harems and love plots with strong female characters. They're my brain candy. Other than that, I like things that have intricate plots or interesting concepts.

My favorite animes ever are Crest of the Stars and Banner of the Stars. I'm still looking for something that cool and well written.

In spite of all this, I still watch Bleach (though it's for the arch plot, not the battles or the filler). I <3 Ukitake. You can keep Ichigo for yourself.

Decoding my ratings
Not Really Good - I want the time I invested in this series back.
So-so and Decent tend to mean that I had high hopes for the series, maybe it started out well, had a cool concept, but I was overall disappointed in how things panned out.
Good means just that - not the best ever, but by no means bad. There is some aspect of the show that is keeping me from being really enthused about it.
Very good - I really liked this series, but for some reason I'm not about to go around recommending it to everyone - mostly this is an issue of appealing to a limited audience. (I liked it, but unless I know you, I'm not sure you will.)
Excellent - this is good. Worth watching. Everyone and anyone will hear from me that I liked it. I would buy these if they weren't so goddam expensive.
Masterpiece - I'm stingy with this one. I have to mean it. I have to believe that the writers, artists, etc did something spectacular here. There's a few I might bump up now that I've seen more anime, but still, a select few.

Note that I do not rate things I have not seen all of.

Bleach and Hayate would rate Very Goods as how they stand wherever I am in them, and Saiunkoku rates at at least Excellent.
