1. Inoue likes Ichigo's grouchy face but afraid and disturbed by his hollow mask. (That's only a mask for God's sake!)
2. Inoue wants to be the rain that Ichigo hates.
3. Inoue tries to catch him but hurts him instead.
4. Ichigo defends Inoue from being called a traitor. But with the fight with Ulqui, it is confirmed that he truly doubted her too.
5. While Ichigo was sleeping, Inoue confessed. And the moment he woke up, he was having a bad dream/nightmare.
6. Ichigo told Grimmjow, he can't be hurt anymore. Then he got hit.

1. "That's the kind of man you are in my heart, Ichigo!" It isn't his grouchy/constipated/whatever face that put him in her heart. It is the kind of man that he is.
2. Rukia stopped the rain that Ichigo hates.
3. Rukia caught him and healed him. (So is his heart that was bruised by thinking that he is the one who killed his mother.)
4. Ichigo never doubted Rukia.
5. He stopped looking for Orhime when they told him Rukia was dead to go look for Rukia
One of the biggest things about the Hueco Mundo arc was because we found out then how much exactly Orihime DIDN'T understand and DIDN'T accept about Ichigo. She was afraid of him when he was in control; then she helped cause him to be out of control.Even in recent chapters, we see Rukia completely ignore Ichigo's mask and focus on Ichigo himself, while Inoue kept focusing on the mask and further disconnected with Ichigo.
