I only have one question for you. Do you like blood?
Because if you do, drop whatever you have in your hands right now (no you can't set it down, you must DROP) and watch this anime pronto! Never before have I seen such a twisted and evil anime.
The show mainly focuses around Keiichi Maebara, Rena Ryuugu, Mion Sonozaki, Satako Hojo, and Rika Furude who all reside in the remote village of Hinamizawa. Each of them live normal school lives and play games in their exclusive club. But are their good times to last? After all, someone is killed every year on the night of Watanagashi, which is not far off. Is it truly coincidence, or is there another force at work?
The characters are the second most impressive thing about this anime (the first being the blood). They all have unique and interesting personalities which, at times, wind up conflicting with other characters. None of them are too cliché either, as is the case with many anime characters.
The animation is also very good and distinct. Trust me, you won't find yourself asking "What the hell is that?"
The only downside to this anime is that the storyline doesn't actually end in it. If you wish to continue the storyline, you'll have to watch the next series Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Kai.

Srawp Review: Myself; Yourself

I liked Myself; Yourself a good deal. It possesses the things that make a good anime. It has believable characters and an exciting storyline. The characters are just young kids at the start and then they grow up to be teenagers for the majority of the anime. This allows most of the audience to relate to the story. The anime has a lack of music though and it is also somewhat short. It uses the same opening and closing themes throughout the entire series which is a little bit of a disappointment, but I don't pay much attention to music. This anime is really for people who enjoy animes which involve romance and drama. There is an equal amount of both in this series. If you do decide to watch this anime, you must watch it all the way through. Trust me, you will not regret it.

Srawp Review: D.Gray-man

D.Gray-man is, without a doubt, a stroke of genius. Its primary asset is its storyline, which sets the stage for just about anything to happen. It's essentially about certain individuals with their own special powers running around and releasing the souls of the deceased who have become large, grotesque monsters. Sounds like Bleach, right? WRONG! While at first glance it may seem like Bleach, anyone who has watched the series would probably not even notice. Every episode is important to the series in some way (that's right, NO FILLERS!). There is also ample screentime for the characters in the series (so no one feels left out). I could only identify two significant problems with this anime. The first is the inconsistency between the characters' language and the timeframe of the anime.

Mind explaining that? My other problem is D.Gray-man's ending.

The way the anime went allows people to become interested enough to go out and buy the manga, but leaves the anime viewers to lie and rot. Yet, I have still given this anime a good rating with what it has given me. I enjoyed this anime A LOT. I highly recommend it.

Srawp Review: Clannad After Story

This is an interesting series to say the least. It is a very romantic anime that picks up right where Clannad left off. I highly recommend watching Clannad before viewing this or else you run the risk of becoming very very confused. It is also worth mentioning that this anime is much better than Clannad. I liked how the story progressed for the most part and I found myself laughing many times while watching. What's more, I almost cried a couple times during the anime. ME! CRY!! Even though I knew none of it was real, my eyes began to water. No other anime (or show... or anything for that matter) has even come close to that. So I can say that I was shocked by this phenomenon and pleased with the anime. There are three problems I have with it though. First, the creators of the anime do not make use of all their characters. Honestly, the series only focuses on three characters...

Second, there are a few "supernatural" elements that are, quite frankly, unnecessary and confusing.
** Spoiler Alert!!! click to hide or show**
Lastly, I was very angry with how the series tried to end.

Even so, I still found much to love about Clannad After Story... and I'm sure you can too!
