A (Semi) Mary Sue That Has Captured Hearts
Hinamori Amu.
Perhaps it is the pink hair...Maybe her hilarious expression, stretchy cheeks, or even her love triangle.
I'm not one of Amu's fangirls. I like her as a character but have come to see a new side of her that everyone neglects. I can't fail to say that she's humorous and has gone through an amazing character growth since the beginning.
But I can say that she’s a Mary Sue. She’s not all Mary Sue, but she is in some ways…A Mary Sue. Despite that, we love Amu. We love her attitude, charas, and more about the Cool n’ Spicy heroine.
I, for one, don’t get all the fuss about her; the fangirls clawing over Tadamu or Amuto (With some Amuhiko, Amu x Kairi, & Amu x Kukai thrown in).
I enjoy her presence in the manga, but the anime has turned her into some boring Mary Sue. I assure you that there has not been a single escapade that Amu hasn’t put her two cents in. ((I’m still feeling a fetish towards the Nagihiko-Rhythm episode))
Nevertheless, she is the main character. And as usually…The main character (especially when its female) has Mary Sue features. That, my reader, is the way things work out.

Fujisaki Nagihiko: Trap Character
Nagihiko was one of my favorite characters. The twists and turns with his character development...Along with how he helped other characters grow was something I was fond of.
He was a trap, which only added to his greatness. Nagihiko, when he returned to Japan and became Jack's chair, provided Amu with information on lying and honesty. Imagine him, lying to her about his twin Nadeshiko, advising her about such things.

^_^; A Simple Review From Someone's Perceptive?
This anime was pretty decent. I was first forced into watching it thanks to some pesky cousins. I don't enjoy the battling, but have somewhat fallen hard for the characters in the show.
