Kaoru is your typical nice male antagonist.The husband & wife complex is pretty interesting and the switch over to a mansion made the oncoming characters flow in really nicely. Theres some amount of humor thats laughable. I liked how most of the 1st season was based around relationship build up for Kaoru and Aoi.

I highly recommend this anime because its a good storyline despite the boring characters. I do feel that they can revive and continue this anime. The movie wasn't bad as well. I'm somewhat looking forward to the live action movie starring Keanu Reevs but i'm not expecting much.
