HAPPY BIRTHDAY NAMIE AMURO!!

Hmm, ethnicity? Not really Irish-American, but that's the closest that fits. My ancestry is mostly Scottish, so listing Irish is actually an offense, except that I'm a tiny bit Irish too (hehe). If that's not bad enough, I'm also part Italian. Talk about internal conflict!! Anyway, many immigrants through Ellis Island were encouraged to abandon their culture in order to "fit in", so my family has long since lost our European heritage. The best way to describe me is American American, but I do have an interest in other cultures.

Live and work in California. Originally born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and went to college there too. Moved to California for my job, and love it here! Such nice weather =)

Love sports, especially soccer! And learning how to play guitar. Just bought a new acoustic a few weeks back, and it's awesome!

Also want to learn Japanese for two reasons... 1) so I can understand the shows w/o having to read subs (haha), 2) so I can go see Namie Amuro live in concert someday =) Ok, I guess it could benefit me in my career as well down the road, but I'm more motivated by Namie-chan than by work, lol.

Update: I'm starting a Japanese language class on Monday!! I already started learning with my computer, but now I will have an instructor so I can ask questions =)

Now watching: I'm currently taking a break from watching uploads in order to focus on learning Japanese.

Last watched: Namie Amuro's new video Sexy Girl! LOVE it so much! Can't get it outta my head, but then I don't really want to ;-) When she sings "let me see your pretty pretty eyes on me", I think she's singing to me =) I'm already enlisting help from Japanese friends to help me figure out how to buy tickets to Namie's upcoming concert tour later this year. I REALLY REALLY wanna see her perform live!
