I've seen FLCL and Akira already. Some other older series I've seen are Visions Of Escaflowne and most of Kodomo no Omocha. I've heard samurai champloo is very good I'll give it a try soon :)

Ya, I'm watching nogizaka haruka no himistu as well, it's a lot better than I would have expected. I tried starting Hellsing a long time ago, but I never really got into it...
