The Night
It was a sleepless night.
all I could see
was the pale darkness of night.
all I could hear
was the light rain falling on the side of my house
and the heavy thunder dieing away.
Lightness seeping through the window
welcoming the new day.
At last my sleepless night has died once again.
Offline - Life is pleasant. Death is peaceful. It's the transition that's troublesome.
