I've not long finished this second season of The Melancholy Of Haruhi Suzumiya & I have to say that I didn't enjoy it half as much as what I did the first seeason (I mean, those 9 Endless Eight episodes were just too much! I watched the first & last of them & skipped all the rest in between!) but regardless of that fact alone, I found the other 5 episodes really good all the same.
The animation style of this second season (especially the characters) reminds me a lot of K-On!'s similar looking animation style & you can tell that it does differ somewhat to the style of animation that was used in the original 2006 release of the first season for sure. With all this being said, it was good to see the return of Haruhi again along with all of the rest of the brilliant characters from season 1.
You don't have to watch this second season after watching the first season as such if you so choose, only I did & honestly didn't mind as such seeing it through to the very end as I thought why the heck not, it won't hurt to, lol, but I know that everyone will have different opinions on the outcome & result of this second season, but overall, personally, it wasn't too bad at all.
I've just finished watching this first season of Haruhi Suzumiya after meaning to give it a go for quite some time now, and I have to admit that I thought it was a pretty crazy series to start off with, having to watch the episodes NOT in chronological order as listed, but by the numbered brackets next to their titles instead...I found it pretty weird to start off with!
But I soon got the hand of all the chopping & changing & realised that if I hadn't have watched them in Broadcast order as I was advised to do by so many people on here in the forums, it would've been ever so confusing to follow & pretty messed-up from the word go! All in all though, my opinion of this series is a very good one indeed, as it's just so very different, refreshin, fun & unique!
I'll be making a start on the second season 2 as I just can't get enough of awesome Haruhi herself right now! And I can totally see now how pretty much every anime fan out there has already seen this as it's just so popular a series, of which I am also now a proud follower of!
After watching the first season not too long ago, I went straight into watching this second season with good hopes & feeling that it would prove to be just as much fun and it did, although I can't help but think that it's been shortened so much in storyline because the manga series seems a lot more detailed with far more scenarios than what the anime covers compared.
But aside from that (as I'm still currently in the middle of reading the manga series right now at the minute anyway) I did enjoy watching it's anime all the same & found that the second season is just as good if not slightly more so than the first season as we are introduced to a few more new characters, my fave being Moka's younger sister, fellow vampire Kokoa.
Any fans of the first R+V series (like me) will more than likely welcome this second series with open arms!
I've just finished watching this first season of Rosario+Vampire after meaning to make a start on it quite a while back now as it's always taken my interest & I have to say that I thoroughly enjoyed watching it from start to finish, although one flaw I do have about it (but only the one) is to just how short it is compared to the manga, which has so many more characters & screnarios that aren't featured in the anime I found, which is a bit of a shame to an extent.
I'm currently reading the manga series aswell at the moment at the same time as watching the anime, but knew I'll soar through the anime faster than what I would the manga, as I'm sure I will when I make a start on the second series Capu2 very shortly aswell, but overall, I still really liked the anime all the same as the storyline is cool, and the characters are all so great & very well animated & colourful (my fave character is Inner Moka Vampire), yet another fun & action-packed ecchi-filled series that I like very much.
I'm not usually a big fan of vampire-themed series, but I make a huge exception for this one most definately!
I've been meaning to watch this second series of XxxHolic for quite some time now & am so glad that I finally did as I thoroughly enjoyed it as much as what I did the first series, despite being somewhat shorter in length episodes-wise, but any fan of the first series like me will be grateful for this second series, along with a feature-length movie called "xxxHOLiC - Manatsu no Yo no Yume" aswell.
The amimation & songs are superb as ever, along with the usual loved characters and storyline, which follows the manga pretty much spot-on much more than what the first series ever did, Clamp have well & truly outdone themselves yet again...I'm now hoping & praying that this second series will eventually come out on DVD to buy over here to add to the first series in order to complete the collection in full.
All you fellow Yuuko lovers out there like me, WATCH THIS & FALL IN LOVE WITH EVEN MORE XXXHOLIC GREATNESS!
I have the first 5 volumes of this anime on DVD (don't have a clue as to when volume 6 will be released over here though, if not at all, which will be incredibly irrittating if so!) along with both manga series which I've read over & over again countless amounts of times, and is without a shadow of a doubt one of my all-time favourite high-school/romance/love triangle/drama/shoujo anime series ever! Momo Adachi is just brilliant as the lead character alongside fellow school rival Sae.
Many twists, turns & surprises lurk around every school hall corner & you'll find yourself cheering & laughing one minute, then shocked & emotional the next, as we follow each character's teenage roller-coaster ride through the good & bad times of being in a relationship with someone, from lying, cheating & jealousy to pure friendship, happiness & honest truth & real love.
I can't recommend this series highly enough if you're a girl (or a guy even!), as it's an absolute must-see!

I have the complete series of this great anime on DVD (Volumes 1-6) which I've watched only the once so far but really enjoyed all the same! One thing that really stands out to me with this anime is how very well animated it is, not to mention strikingly colourful, in both background & characters! The music & songs totally rock aswell, especially it's opening theme.
Again, I've heard in the past that the manga series is much better, but coming from someone who's only read the first 5 volumes, I honestly thought that the anime was a bit better than the manga, in the fact that I haven't bothered to carry on with reading or buying the manga since, but sticking with the anime all the way to the end & that the storyline is still pretty much spot-on.
Give this anime a go if you haven't already peeps, as you may be pleasantly surprised...I know I was!
I have the complete DVD boxset of this wonderful series (again by the awesome creators that are Clamp) and cannot even begin to start to describe just how good it is! A lot of people have mentioned that it's not really as good as it's manga series, but I for one disagree with that as I personally really enjoy it just as much as, if not more so, than the manga series.
You can't help but feel for Chii right from the word go in the very first episode as she's just so sweet & naive, for a Persocom android, and the way she keeps saying "Chiii?" all of the time as her form of talking & comminication is just too darn cute & adorable for words! But be warned for a complete overload of suggestive questions & embarrassing ecchi situations as she discovers what makes human boys tick in this world, and what doesn't.
This would have to be my third favourite Clamp anime series, after xXxHolic & Tsubasa: Reservoir Chronicle! Really good!
I have the complete series of this first series on DVD (Volmes 1-6) which I finished watching a few months ago & ended up re-watching again not too long afterwards because it was just so cool & enjoyable! The characters are great, the songs are awesome & it's animation is brilliant, there's so much excitement, action & fun from the word go in the very first episode.
The ending does make it blindingly obvious that there will be a seond series in the making, and lo & behold, there was, and I am planning on watching the second series very soon online elsewhere as it totally left me wanting more. Shana is just plain & utter AWESOMENESS, along with fellow character Margery Daw, whom I also realy like in this series.
Watch it & love it people, as I know you will if you haven't already done so!
I have the complete first series on DVD of this brilliant anime series, in 2 lots of 3 disc box sets and I have to say that it is one of my most favourite series that I own lately, as I never tire of watching it! Beng a huge fan of anything & everything Clamp, I knew that I was gonna be in for yet another real treat in the form of this beautifully animated, mysterious, spooky & often hilarious series. And you also don't have to have read or be reading it's manga series either in order to know what's going on.
There are so many fab, entertaining & kooky characters, along with somewhat strange & weird storylines, but in my opinion it's what makes them all the more worthwhile watching as it's just complete & utter escapism from the word go as only Clamp can tell & portray so well. Yuuko Ichihara, owner of the wishing shop where Watanuki ends up working, is my favourite character of them all. I pretty much fell in love with her from the word go in this series as she's so beautiful, deep, funny & mysterious.
As the front cover of both of my DVD sets of this series say, "CLAMP fans are sure to eat this up", they most definately are right!
This was my first ever taste of a yuri anime & I have to say that I thoroughly enjoyed every cute minute of it's adorable storyline from the word go, although I am a little dissappointed that it had to end so soon & fast with only 11 episodes and no hint or chance of a second season anytime soon either, as I honestly think that it could have been made a tad bit longer in length.
But saying that, I really have no other complaints at all about this otherwise really good & beautifully animated series with loveable characters & pretty songs, and the last episode made me have loads of tears in my eyes aswell as becoming very choked up as it's pure emotional overload from the word go & I love it the most when they're like this.
I will most definately be seeking out & watching similar yuri animes such as this in future from now on to watch for sure.

Oh my goodness me! Whereabouts do I even start on reviewing this amazingly enjoyable anime! From the minute I watched the very first episode, I just knew I was in for a really different & refreshing treat from the word go! What impressed me the most was how much more of a mature storyline this anime had compared to many others that I have watched on here already, and the whole "Younger girl falls for older man" scenario, it was truly captivating!
All of the characters are really good and very well animated, of which you warm to instantly with their shiningly bright personalities & smart appearance, not to mention the fact that they all wear spectacles whilst serving aswell! Another thing this anime has done is inspire me to take up on beginning to learn Italian for myself, I've even bought a dictionary & phrasebook already to get me started! It's also one of those shows that gets you craving for a good glass of wine and some tasty pasta & pizza dishes too!
The only thing I will say is that I wish it were longer than 11 episodes, but apart from that, really, REALLY superb viewing!

I've been meaning to watch this anime for a while now after being in my anime list (plan to watch) for so long, so I finally decided to give in and do so a few days ago, and oh my goodness, I totally wished that I had seriously watched it sooner as I had absolutely no idea just how good it would be until now! But I can totally see & understand just how popular a series it is with a lot of people on here now! Very much so!
I soared through all 25 episodes in just a couple of days & thoroughly enjoyed every minute of them all! The storyline, music, characters & animation are all brilliant and very amusing & funny at loads of different points aswell (I especially love the characters of Kyoko & Ren, also the first opening theme song, which I think is the best of all the songs in this series) and despite not having read the manga series before & most probably won't end up ever reading it either, the anime alone is still hugely enjoyable & more than enough to satisfy my craving!
I believe that this series is appealing to both sexes, it comes across that way very much, as there's something for everyone!

When I first added this series to my watchlist a few weeks ago, I was dissappointed to find all 13 episodes were incomplete, with only the first 8 episodes added, as I really wanted to start watching it as an already complete & finished series, but happily, when I checked again a few days later, I found that the remaining 5 episodes had been added so I immediately began watching it right away.
Amd my goodness me, was I in for a real treat of a drama anime or what! I thoroughly enjoyed it from start to finish and personally think in my own opinion that it is a much better series & storyline than that of School Days, which I also watched & have reviewed a while back now, purely for the fact that (unlike School Days) this series didn't leave me feeling semi-traumatised or shell-shocked at the end by it's outcome and is by far one of the best drama animes that I have seen on here so far to date! A huge thumbs-up!
Where do I even begin with reviewing this excellent, albeit short anime series that I've just finished watching! From the very first episode & the word go I instantly knew that it would be right up my street and I was hooked as I'm a massive fan of anime school/dormitory dramas as it anyway. And the opening theme song is just so lovely, I find myself humming it a lot!
The storyline is really emotional & captures the feelings of all the characters well, especially in the girls who are staying at the dormitory all together, and my favourite character of them all is Asakura Naoko, but saying that, I think that they're all really good & likeable characters in their own way aswell. I recommend this series highly to anyone who hasn't already seen it!
I gave this a go about a week ago, for a laugh, and totally wished that I hadn't afterwards!
I was cringing with embarrassment from the word go, although the character design & animation were really good, so I'll give it that much praise at least, but that's all though...I'm just so glad that there was only the one video & no more than that cos to be quite honest, I'd rather stick pins in my eyes than watch anymore of this tosh if it were to ever crop up again...Thanks, but no thanks!
Up until I began watching this 3 episode only in length OVA to Steel Angel Kurumi, I'd never before seen an OVA this short, but that aside, decided to still give it a go all the same, remaining positive that it actually would be quite good in the end, and I was right, for I really enjoyed each episode very much, as I never realised just how emotionally charged and focused mainly on Kurumi herself and the guy she meets & falls in love with at the gym themselves.
I also really liked the fact that it was set many years into the future, where all three of the Steel Angels (along with their new friend Excelia) are living together under one roof, with lots of modern day & future technology surrounding them in use, including the internet & computers, of which they all had one each & divided into sections on the one table...I'm not afraid to admit that the last episode did make me cry and I think that fans of the Steel Angel Kurumi series will end up liking & enjoying this OVA in the end aswell, just like I did.
When I started watching this series straight after I'd finished the first, I wasn't too sure what to expect o begin with, but what greeted me was a completely different storyline along with a completely diffferent lead character, this time in the form of a girl who awakens both Kurumi & Saki with a kiss instead of the usual guy & I instantly knew then that I was in for a total change of pace.
All of the Steel Angels look different to what they did in the first series (especially Karinka) but they're still as powerful, funny & cool as ever, although the storyline cold have done with being a bit more on the lively side, and the remix opening theme of the original opening theme from the first series took a little while to grow on me, and by about 3 episodes in I actually didn't mind it at all....I'm not gonna slate this series, for I believed that it still showed promise, and that hopefully, fans of the first series (like me) will still end up enjoying this serie all the same, if they just give it a go & stick with it.

I decided to give this series a go as I thought it looked like a load of good fun & not too hard-going or complicated a storyline to follow, plus the animation and character designs are truly superb, not to mention the really enjoyable opening theme song and was a decent enough length in episodes aswell, no boredom found here whatsoever!
I'm always drawn to these kinda of ecchi/harem-esque animes featuring hapless male lead roles who get themselves into all kinds of embarrassing mischief with members of the oppisite sex who he's constantly surrounded by, regardless of whether they're human or otherwise, like the lovely Steel Angels themselves...This series should go down well with pretty much everyone.
I'm a girl & I'll be among the first to admit that I really enjoyed this series from start to finish, despite being inundated with innuendo, ecchi & full of pretty much almost naked girls with their boobs out in every episode, it was still a very light-hearted, fun & giggly little series all the same, with a crazy storyline & even crazier but lovable characters.
I also really liked the opening theme song & the ending theme song using real-life images of Japanese girls dressed as maids in & around a home...It was really cute...If you need a pick-me-up with no seriousness or complicated/confusing storyline whatsoever, then this series is a MUST for you to watch as you'll enjoy it I'm sure!
As soon as I finished the first series, I moved straight on to making a start on this (undoubtedly just as good, and I totally wasn't wrong either!) brilliant looking second series, which I have to admit, had a much better opening theme than that of the first series! And oh my god, did it make me cry at the end so very much or what! I was blubbering like a (really) big baby, hee hee!
A word of advice: If you watch the first series, and don't give this second series a go afterwards, then you're a FOOL because you MUST as you won't be dissappointed & will totally love it as much as what I did! *Applauses & cheers*.....I want a third season!

I'd had my eye on this series for quite some time now on here, even before I became a pay-monthly Anime Member, and decided to start watching it a couple of weeks ago, and I tell you now, I never looked back on nor regretted doing so since! It's just such a beautifully made anime in every sense of the word, and every episode left me wanting more! Thoroughly & highly recommended by me to everyone & anyone who enjoys this type of anime as it's just pure escapism!
I only wished at the time that it was longer in episode length, until I discovered happily that it had a second series aswell!
Wow...just wow, in every good sense of the word, is pretty much all I have to say about this cuter-than-cute little anime series! It was the second series that I chose to watch after becoming a pay-monthly Anime Member on here as I totally love this genre and I wasn't dissappointed with what I was watching in the slightest!
There just isn't a single thing I could moan about that wasn't NOT good in this show! Everything about it made me feel all warm & fuzzy inside with every episode & I was totally gutted when it finished so soon and wished it was longer in length! I'm so hoping (like a few other peeps on here probably are too) that there will be a second series very soon!

What starts off in this series as a really cute & almost innocent like school life/love/relationship triangle & turn of events as to be expected in a typical anime series genre, towards the end, (especially in the last episode, which is the biggest eye-opener of them all!) it pretty much makes you jaw drop in surprise with it's horrific outcome & the slight horror tendencies!
I'll admit that I was pretty freaked out myself when I saw what happened, but soon got over it & it didn't cloud my overall judgement & opinion of this otherwise really good series! I recommend it to anyone who is into this genre of anime, like me, and who likes twists in the storyline that they just weren't expecting, let alone a happy ending, which this series totally doesn't have!

From the minute the opening scenes & song started on the first episode of this series, I just knew I wasn't gonna be dissappointed & fell in love instantly with everything about it! It's one of the more lengthier series in total episodes (39) that I've chosen to watch in a while, as I usually only ever stick to ones that have no more than 26 episodes, but ti didn't take me too long to get through in the end and was really glad that I chose to watch this series on here! It's really cute, fun, actiony, magical & kiddy (obviously aimed at a more younger audience of anime lovers) but that doesn't bother me as I'm 26 years old and am a complete sucker for anime shows such as this!
All in all, there are no faults or complaints whatsoever that I have about this series & can't give it a big enough thumbs-up! Give it a go & I'm sure that you yourselves will be agreeing with me!
