Exploring the Korean version side of dramas, I browsed through Crunchyroll deciding on what to watch. After I finished watching Hana Kimi - Japan, I wanted to know if there was another drama that was just like it. Some people suggested Coffee Prince, so I decided to check it out to see if I liked it or not. After watching the first episode, I was already impressed with the drama. For one thing, it's interesting how the main female lead is pretending to be a boy while being surrounded by guys all the time. This drama deserves to be given a 5/5 stars for it has everything in it. :)
Overall: A must-watch drama. One of the good things about it is that it had a happy ending, and that just made it an even better drama. The characters go through so many emotions as the drama progresses and can make you cry, be bitter, or just plain old happy for them for such a warm and loving story.
Storyline: This drama has an original and unique plotline to it!
Music: The music fit the tempo and mood for what each character was currently going through. It was also interesting to hear the different ringtones on the character's phones whenever they called each other. The song "I Love You" by Han Dong Joon is the best song in the drama because it is the song that Han-gyeol (Gong Woo) sings to Eun-Chan (Yoon Eun-hye) in the last episode.
Characters: The people were the right choice to play their characters. It's hard to imagine anyone else having the role.
Yoon Eun Hye as Go Eun-Chan did superb in being the "guy who is a girl." She actually did look like a guy. xD Jokings aside, she and Gong Yoo made it very believable for you to want them to be together.
Gong Yoo as Choi Han Kyul fit his character very well by being the "arrogant, rich heir." He did a great job being one of the main leads in the drama. It's funny to see how he is the only one who does not know that Eun-Chan is a girl. .but that's what makes this drama more complicated and great.
Lee Sun Gyun as Choi Han Sung played his character well. From shouting and being frustrated to having a happy smile on his face, Lee Sun Gyun made his character go through it all flawlessly.
Chae Jung Ahn as Han Yoo Joo was the odd one out. She is the one who makes things all complicated in her relationship and treads on very thin ice in the drama.
Lee Eon playing Hwang Min Yeop made you immediately like him for his simpleness and honesty, and for him trying so hard to win his "Angel's" heart.
Kim Jae Wook as No Sun Ki made you see how his character is dealing with his troubles right now and for him being half-Japanese and clashing with Min Yeop.
Acting: With a very loveable cast, the acting was marvelous.
