I'm Nigerian-American (Igbo ethnicity to be specific) and I love Japanese culture (isn't that something new?). I'm learning Japanese now and I hope to be fluent someday. But no, I'm not one of those Japan-obsessed kids you see running around your school. I recognize my own native Nigerian culture, although not as much as I would like to (lazy parents). I'm also learning Spanish because it's either that or French in my school. But I've always had the desire to learn Spanish. I also like Kdramas and TWdramas, but not as much. Anime and manga really aren't my things anymore, they were more of a phase for me.
I'm agnostic, which means I believe there is some type of creator, but I have no religion. But I'm not fixed on the idea that there is a creator, it's just the easiest explanation for everything.
Mainstream American rap is pretty much dead, so I rarely listen to it anymore. Guys like Kanye, Lupe, Common, Talib, Nas, etc. are keeping it alive, but they can only do so much. M-flo is my main source of hip-hop and my favorite music group. My other favorite artists are Utada Hikaru, Rip Slyme, Crystal Kay, and Big Bang. No, I don't listen to JE bands. They're a bunch of manufactured musical-talentless crap (great actors though). I feel the same about pretty much all Asian boybands (except Big Bang).
I'm one of those people that actually likes learning. Knowledge is power.
