....wth this is nothing like the anime, well that doesnt really matter but it SUCKS compared to the anime! seriously i know it did come out before the anime did, but th characters are nothing what they really are! nagisa is a bit of a bimbo, tomoya is an asshole, they never explain how kyou and tmoyo came in, sunohara is not as dumb as he was UGH!

the story line goes WAY too qickly and leaves out details.

the animation is PURE BULL SHIT. i mean yeah the scenery is nice but the artstyle is just YUCK! dont get me wrong, the artsyle in the series was also a bit ovverdone but DAMN! ALSO, IN ANOTHER SCENE YUSHINO'S WIFE IS WALKING DOWN THE HALLWAY SWAYING AROUND AND IT HARDLY LOOKS LIKE SHES WALKING!

the music made the danjos look lame :[

First off, the storyline. Yeah so it starts off Haruhi stumbling into the host club. BREAKING AN EXPENSIVE Vase. You can thank the guys for that. I'M LOOKIN' AT YEW TAMAKI! If they had stop freaking her out maybe that would have never happened. Now Haruhi has to pay her debt. And the only way to do that is to be a host. A host is an extremely good looking guy that has way too much time on his hands (LOL) But only one problem.... SHE'S A GIRL! When the take off Haruhi's glasses they even admitt she looks like a girl. O_O"""" But the way they find out is that Tamaki walks in while she is changing. (I bet a bunch of losers are looking up the first episode right now) But she's in her UNDERSHIRT. O_O"""" So don't get worked up. shes not nude or in nothing but her bra so STFU (There is one scene when she is in her bra so don't get your hopes up.) And then they come to there senses - "A GIRL CANNOT BE A HOST! BUT SHE DOES HAVE SHORT HAIR AND AN A CUP SO..... LETS DO IT!" Yeah. So they get a male uniform for her and before you know it, she's a host. <_<""" And all of a sudden, all of the girls are falling for a GIRL. WTF. I have to give the storyline some credit. This is a comdedy / reverse harem anime, and it's pretty funny once you think about it. XD

The music of this anime is upbeat and pure AWESOME. From Beautiful piano pieces to hardcore rock. The theme song and ending song are both enjoyable. In the dub they are in English. I don't really enjoy the English ones though. they could have gotten better singers. ._."""""

Now for my favorite part, the characters.

Haruhi - Tomboyish and enjoyable. She had cut her hair due to some assfart (LOL) of a kid putting gum in her hair. She really didn't mind though. She had a long bob. In my opinion, i hate long bobs. -.- I think she looks much better with her hair short.

Tamaki - Childish, perverted, and stupid, this guy may seem annoying to some, but fun to me. He is often seen fantasizing about Haruhi. WTF?! Or making a total fool of himself in front of the entire club. His appearance is, somewhat, pretty boyish. Yeah he is droolful in some ways, but we have all seen them before. In anime, in magazines, in reality T.V., in school, yeah. It's pretty typical for a reverse harem. but now I'm just rambling. Now the Twins.

Hikaru - Funny, cute, and much more aggressive the Kaoru. What i mean by that, is that he would rather kick someone in the ribs then bang his head over someone. He is usually making random comments or being a little devil. He looks like a cat with cool hair.

Kaoru - See Hikaru. :]

Kyouya - Cool, Smart, even looks like a sexy beast with glasses. He is usually making Tamaki or the twins look like total idiots, or pointing out things the other host do not realize. He is Popular with Whats-her-face-annoying-bitchy-ugly-slut-so-called-otaku. Yeah i don't even want to find out what that bitches name is. Sorry, I'm getting off topic. There is not much to say about Kyouya though. But hes pretty freakin awesome. :]

Honey - ADORABLE, funny, & plushy. He may be cute and innocent on the outside, but he is a black belt in karate. which means - he can kick your ass. He is usually with Mori, his cousin, eating sweets, or playing with his little bunny. All of the shout- I MEAN pedophi- I MEAN girls are after him like money falling from the sky.

Mori - Strong, tall, and silent. Not to mention (in my opinion) THE HOTTEST GUY IN THE ENTIRE SHOW. You can find him giving Honey piggy back rides or standing there looking like he is thinking to himself, "I'm surrounded by idiots O_O"

Haruhi's father - Dare I speak of her - I MEAN HIM.

Now onto the animation. It's really nothing special. It does have a few iffs every 30 panels, but it was made in like, 2001, so that can be understood.

But overall, I give this series a 9/10. I highly recommend you watching It is a really funny series. :]
