Neko Rahmen -by rafael0000

Mr. Tanaka is the only regular customer of the ramen shop Neko Rahmen, and for good reason. Not only is the shop is run by a bossy cat called Taishou, but the food is usually bad and occasionally the shop is visited by psychics, kittens, farm animals, French chefs working part-time in the kitchen, hobos, and Taishou's odd relatives. So why does he keep coming? Maybe it's for the laughs...

I wasn't sure what to expect of a series that only consists of four minute episodes and two main characters. Really, what can a show do in less than five minutes? (and then i remember she and her cat, so magnificent, even in 5 minutes duration) Kakurenbo is a chilling story told in less than forty minutes, Voices of Distant Star took only thirty minutes to steal my heart, and The Adventures of Mini-Goddess and Dokuro-chan could get a few laughs out of me in ten. But four minutes? I can barely shave in five minutes.

What I got was something similair to the Sunday comics in my newspaper: very condensed humor that hits at times and misses at others. And that's not bad; since this anime was completely free, I got my money's worth. Some of the jokes are worthy of a snicker, some of a groan, and one or two got a good guffaw from me.

What is most impressive about this series is its off-the-wall creativity. Having a bossy, ambitious cat run a ramen stand is odd enough, but it gets weirder with an entire episode in cat speak ("So your cat can enjoy the show with you" the anime explains), one episode with events shuffled out of order a la Haruhi Suzumiya, and one episode that blurs out items or words, and makes the audience guess what they are, answers to be revealed at the end of the episode.

The series is flash animated, and looks great for using a program most middle schoolers have in their computer labs. The subtitles were okay, with occasional words missing from sentences or misspelled. The characters are the other thing this series has in common with newspaper comics: they are simple and distinct, which is all this format will allow.

"Restrictions breed creativity" is the mantra of a famous game designer, and it seems that is just as true in a very short anime. I thought of giving this show an extra star just because of how well it works with the restrictions it has, but because of the hit/miss/"what the hell?" nature of its jokes, I decided against it. That said, if you are a fan of weird Japanese comedy, you should check this series out. You literally have nothing to lose except a very short amount of time.

Neko rahmen is an anime/flash recommended for those who loves japanese humor and can comprehend with a fast paced show like Lucky star and such. (all flash movies are fast paced after all)

that concludes my review in Neko rahmen, enjoy this show! what will you lose in 5 minutes^^

School days Review by -rafael0000

Hello, rafael0000 here..

The first time I watched school days was way back 2007, when it was considered the most traumatic psychological anime ever made, making anime fans hate anime for a few days or week... This is a story about the love-comedy-tragedy of Itou Makoto, Sekai and Kotonoha.
From the outstanding fully animated hentai visual novel from Overflow that shocked the whole otaku-dom with it's multiple Brutal Bloody endings.

SChool Days is one rare anime that is so rare, it's golden. The only problem is that, many users say School days suck 'coz the ending is so Bad. Well here is the fact for all of them, your not mature enough if you can't dig the lesson School days have left behind. This is a Slice of life, Psychological, love drama that is directed to viewers 18+ because of it''s mature contents, it came from a hentai game after all. So let's start the review in this golden wicked anime.

Characters: 9/10

Itou Makoto is the normal high school guy you can think of, but with a high amount of appeal for the opposite sex, even though he is like that, He is Immature. being contented of his one-sided feeling for the pretty heroine Kotonoha, He decided to keep quiet and keep his feeling on his own, then here comes Sekai, the (so called bitch") classroom sit mate of Makoto and have feelings for him too. Sekai is more Mature thinking than Makoto and used this opportunity to lure Makoto in the world of Sex and Lust> >_^ and last.. kotonoha, the ever innocent Kotonoha who loved Makoto so much, it made her Insane.. Wonderly Wonderful..

Storyline: 7/10

The story at the start is so cute so everyone who watched this the first time thought it will go smoothly and this will be another fan-service anime like to-love ru or such.. >_< but then things turned from complicated to worst... Driving every character to their point of doom, stretching the boundaries of morality because of the influence of lust and appeal. The story started to be dark and lonely, watching how Kotonoha thinks that Makoto still loves her, while knowing that Makoto already lost his love for her and starting to flirt with other girls. SO wicked! If your affected, if your annoyed, your supposed to be. and that means. THE WRITERS ARE REALLY SOME KIND OF GENIUSES.
because they can touch your hearts ^^

Music: 10/10

The music is so good, Innocent Blue is a very nostalgic OP song for an anime like this, mixed with different ending songs per episode, this is not an anime which is rushed like other animes, this are made with sweat and brains^^

Animation: 8/10

animation is pretty good.. still following the animations produced by overflow, They made school day a more fully animated story ,,, There are no fight scenes in here of course.. so expecting a kick ass animation is a big No NO. But the way Sekai stabbed Makoto.. That will forever mark in our brains/.//

so I conclude my review in SChool days in here.. though this anime is short, It really is a rare anime which shows the amount of randomness and Psychologicality and anime can achieve, if you say this anime sucks, try to enter the world of LOve. If your mature enough then you may realize how great this anime is. This thing happens in real life.. Overall.. 9/10!!!
