ok everyone... this is just a sneak peak of a story i'm writing... its called Silent Dawn... this is just part of the first chapter if ya wanna read the rest its in my pages...
It was dark and I couldn’t see anything but the moon and stars. The mystery of the night was all around and the whispers of the wind circled the earth. I could almost hear the heathen songs the wind was singing. How its soft voice dies off and comes back almost immediately.
I closed my eyes, and raised my head up and held out my arms, letting the world flow around me. I could feel the wind pick up and the heat of the night cool down. The light of the full moon shone down and the sound of rushing water filled my ears. Slowly I opened my eyes, taking in a deep, sharp breath as I saw what stood in front of me.
She was the embodiment of all loveliness. The quintessence of feminine beauty. She was beautiful with silver-blond hair like moonlight, rich and thick, falling down around her soft shoulders. She had the voluptuous young body of a maiden in her prime, and her clothes are the most seductive, gossamer thin and clinging to her willowy frame. She was dancing towards me like a young elfin nymph in a moonlit glade.
The most beautiful smile crossed her face as she set one palm on my cheek. A warm sensation filled my body as I felt all the elements around me move faster and have more life. The beautiful woman whispered to me in a voice that is gentle and soft and sweet, and as musical as a silver bell frosted with ice.
“Do not be afraid my daughter. You are in no danger.”
I gasped once more at the mere sound of her voice, whispering close in my ear. “Goddess?”
The woman smiled again and giggled. Her giggle sounded like wind chimes dancing in the breeze, gently stroking each other, making a sweet ringing song.
“My daughter, you called me here? For my assistance I believe.”
“Mother, I do not recall calling you hear.” I bowed my head trying to remember if I had wished her here. I could not remember anything though, it was all a blank. “Is this a dream, Mother?” I asked, looking up into her eyes, the colour of moonlight and I could swear I saw a few starts glistening in them. Her perfect face broke into a bigger smile as her hair bobbed when she nodded. “But Mother, why come to me in a dream?” I asked, looking up to her.
“My child, I do not wish to show myself in front of warlocks. They don’t, how do the children say it these days,” she whispered to herself, “they don’t fancy me much.”
Another giggle danced through the wind to my ears, “But Mother, Eleazer isn’t…”
“Not Eleazer, my dear. Think hard and do not speak of what I have told you. Think of what you need to do and trust only those who you love.” She smiled and started to turn away, but then looked me in the eyes, “oh, and Sweetheart, forgive my dear Son, he’s only doing what’s best for you.” then she was gone.
“Yes, Mother, I will. Blessed be.” I whispered.
