Saikoku means western region, or Kyushu Island in particular. It is pronounced "saigoku" by many Japanese, but "saikoku" is also correct.....i just found this out at 10:50 on tuesday march 18, 2008...this is soooo kool yay for me...i thought i made up a name but it actually means something...not what i thought it would be but still
...and it was also the name of a comidic actor in the 1600's
