Even after Kotoko, the main character gets her guy, this anime not only shows her wedding and after wedding life; but follows Irie and her through their college/medical school years as well as early parenthood. The main character may irk you sometimes, but this anime is cute, funny, and will make you go "so that's how it works!". Give it some time in the beginning however, characters will change.
