Been watching anime for a very long time. Fansubs were actually done on things called VHS back then. Back when the only anime on tv was the occasional Shadow Skill on cable and Escaflowne had the honor of being butchered shamelessly for network tv.
Yup, those were the days. Man, these kids have missed out on some excellent anime.
