I love animes with cool guys. I like action and unreasonable thinking. I also like coolheaded, logical, ruthless thinking. I also don't mind if the way the main character thinks is somewhat twisted. Revenge is also a great topic if the character is willing to really get into it no matter what. A tragic fall isn't too bad either. I don't mind some blood, but if the killing is just random without any meaning behind it, it bores me. Basically I like the darker stuff minus ugly monsters. However, 'intelligent plot type' anime are by far my favorites.
