(ugh, i meant "flack" not "flake"! ) i dunno how it is there, but i pretty much bugged the editor at the paper to let me in xD he made me send in a ton of writing pieces, but so far it was worth it- maybe you can do that with a hobby

as for jobs, currently I'm taking flake for a local indie music paper- don't get paid- but they promised free cd's (which i am waiting patiently for!!) what are your interest? maybe you could get a job doing that-
