Alright, I am writing a review because I think that this movie is being unfairly rated. This movie was definitely not a masterpiece, we can all tell that, but it was not meant to be. It was merely made as a fun adaption of the original series. The story may have been different, and some of the characters changed, but the fact is that those factors made the movie a little more creative. I would not have recommended seeing this movie in theaters at the time, but if you are looking for a funny film based off of a great anime, this would be a good movie to rent, if you are willing to keep an open mind.

This was a good anime. I only watched this anime because I saw a picture and thought the art looked pretty good. I am glad that I did too. Not only was the art really good, the storyline was really good as well. The whole system on how life is arranged was very unique. I would not have thought of it myself. Although, the plot, in my opinion, was predictable, but most plots to stories are to me. I also really liked the fighting system that was arranged in this anime, I have always liked the idea of team fighting. But in this anime I liked more that the two completely depended on each other to be able to fight, it made things unpredictable as to the level each match fought would be. Although I did not think the voice for Kuro was the best choice (though she did alright, just could have had a better suited voice), I thought the characters were pretty fun, fun enough to get into their life stories. Also, I did not like it when a certain character died, the one with black hair, not a very important character. They could have done more with the character, instead of just tossing her/him out so quickly. As for the music in this anime, I am sorry to say, I did not approve. Although I love rock music, the music did not seem to fit for the scenes that it was played in, and the rock theme was overused a lot. Although there were some kinks in this anime that should have been fixed, I still say that it is worth watching for it's unique style.
