Chase Owens has been unfortunate his entire life. His mother died during childbirth; to which his father blames him. His childhood friend died saving Chase from a car accident; to which he distances himself from others. Everyone connected to Chase ends up hurt; to which he blames himself. Now a senior in high school, Chase is the source of much controversy at Night Sky Academy. Being at the wrong place at the wrong time, Chase has become the scapegoat of many rumors.
