    Gundam Knock-off -.-
Totally uninspired Mobile Suit Gundam rip-off. The plot is basically, Germans in space attack Japanese in space while evidently fighting Americans in space. And the Americans in space are assholes. Senator whatever his name is sort of did this anime in for me, and made me feel like the whole series was more than a little racist. And the director of this series is the same as the one from Geass, ...

This is one of better showe's for the spring line up. Must watch show
This is one of the better Mecha anime i have seen in a while. First of all this is not a knock off or a copy of the gundam series. this show is 100% original with a great cast and a fantastic story line. I would say if this show gets any better from here on out it could be among the best mecha anime made. I am not a new coming to mecha i have see it all my life , from gundam wing to code geass and ...

Lelouch and Suzaku have a baby named L-Elf
Basically a genius who's good at fighting and a teen. Extremely unique story line with the vampire/mecha combo. First thing that catches the eye is that genre cross-over. Definitely not your typical mecha, and contains a lot of unsolved mysteries. Some of the cute artsy stuff shouldn't be in a show like this though, but I guess it appeals to some people.

    Typical Mecha from Sunrise
When it comes to Mecha, Sunrise definitely delivers and so does this springtime package at my doorstep known as Valvrave the Liberator....kind of. The setting itself is typical Sunrise script-writing: We're in space, we don't agree with each other so we try to blow each others freaking heads off. The plotline I'm not going to get into much since there are a multitude of plot holes in the episodes ...

    A haphazard combination
This show started off with a semi interesting premise despite that various elements of it were borrowed from many others and put together piecemeal. If you really feel that is an unfair statement then you probably have not seen many of the generic and well known mecha anime. Continuing from there though there has been little execution on the plot that does not constantly get bogged down by strange ...

Can I have more episodes now please? Edit for season finale
I will admit it- I am not a mech genre enthusiast. I watched Gundam when I was a kid and it was on Cartoon Network in the afternoons. But I never really kept up with it when it wasn't on tv anymore, and I never really dove into more shows like it. So when I found a few of the characters of this listed in the top 20 of fan favorites for the current season I was weary about picking up this show.
    I ...

    Expected More From Aniplex
Everything is good about this anime, the sound, the picture, but not the story it is terrible. After the first episode I was wondering where this would go. The Second episode stopped me overall even though I give all Aniplex series a good look,(since i usually like them), this one overall dissapointed me.

    VVV, for Valvrave, and Victory.
Valvrave, another title for Sunrise to sell merch. First, before you vote the review down, that's not a bad thing. Mecha series companies have to sell merch. It's ingrained in their blood, and for good reason. Hundreds of Mecha geeks, like myself, like to buy merch. It's all win/win for Mecha fans.
That said, you're getting what you're expecting from Valvrave. It's another in a long line of ...

  • really great anime!!
I love this anime so far, one thing I really love about it is that it is not like most robot shows where the main character always makes the proper decision. I also enjoy how the plot requires the character to make decisions most people would be unable to make. This show beats Gundam series by a landslide in my opinion, I am really looking forward to more of this show. Finally I feel this show has ...

    The Cliffhangers are killing me!
This series is just... how do I put this, BRILLIANT! The plot, just has you on your toes. Many have been saying its a Gundam wanna-be but it's really not. At first you'll be like ehh, but after a couple of episodes you'll be fully hooked. It also depends on your Taste of Mechas.

And you can't forget about the Cliffhangers at the end. These endings makes the next 7 days longer than usual.
