    Food Touring Done Right!
Okay, first thing: I loved the animated first season! Simple shorts matching food to mood, sealed with a drink--it was quietly witty and utterly refreshing, and not a little educational. Now we have a full-length, live-action second season. If this latest incarnation can maintain the quality of its first episode, then we have something truly special here! While her trademark "Pshuu!" ...

    Mouth watering goodness!
What a pleasant surprise to find this gem with a second season. A really enjoyable show for anyone who loves food I highly recommend it worth a watch. You shall not regret it.

The only downside about this show is that it leaves you incredible hungry after each episode! XD

Wonderful, but very different from the anime
The anime was perfection. This show is quite good.

The biggest hurdle for me is that the actress, Rina Takeda, is not Miyuki Sawashiro, Wakako's voice actress. And Rina is great but she just doesn't have the right voice! "Pshuuuuu" always seems out of place; a nonsense expression intentionally planned and executed for a reason that you don't understand (she totally has a "wait for it I'm going ...

    Food porn made right
    This show is great!
I fell in love with the manga some time ago, and then the anime which perfectly captured it. But in many ways the live action is better than both, as it shows real restaurants (they're showcased at the end of the episode) and real dishes.
For someone not from Japan this is a great way to see some local delicacies and how they're eaten.
Now I just hope that Crunchy will get ...

  • Always rewatching this
This is such a calming drama, the anime is short but cute as well. I love how all the restaurants are real ones and it's promoting their delicious food. I would love to go to these restaurants if I were to go to Japan. This drama is so easy to watch and I always get hungry haha.

  • You'll be asking for seconds...Or more!
It's quite a charming drama and the foods shown in each episode are so mouth-watering. You can watch this at your leisure and there's no feeling of rushing through each episode. It's a relaxing and nice series for anyone to watch and you'll always come back to watching even when you're done!

  • Good short series for a good time.
I love this series. I loved the anime and manga and I love the live action as well. The food always looks so tasty. I want to try all the places she goes. I really hope they make a third season. There is enough manga content and I'm sure more restaurants want to advertise themselves through the show.

this show really made we want to visit japan just so i could go into all these restaurants she recommends in every episode. i love how she credits every shop at the end of the show before the credits. she makes so many things look good, even things i know i would not like. this show really makes me want to venture into unknown lands of flavors.

  • Magical show about the sadness of modern life
If you like this kind of thing there's nothing better than this show.

Office lady Wakako works long hours at a high pressure low wage job at Tokyo with a demanding boss. She lives in a very small studio apartment and socializes little, having left her friends and family back in Hiroshima. No real boyfriend or prospects. But she's happy because her job pays enough for her to sample nearby bars ...
