    Very mean spirited show
    Based on only ep1 (spoilers)
I don't mind fan service shows but this more like a censored Hentai.

A top idol gets into a wrestling match after mouthing off about how similar the disciplines are and, even after being beaten, chooses to train more and fight back.

The premise is pretty good, but the match is used purely to stretch our young, well built protagonist into a succession of ...

Rumble Roses meets anime. Nuff said.
Wanna be the Strongest in the world is another entry in the ecchi genre, which as see more of a rise over the past years. This series is actually pretty similar to the video game Rumble Roses, which is basically all about fanservice.

I actually discovered this series though it's promotional video which a friend on YouTube sent me. After watching the said PV, I didn't expect much out of it. But ...

Cheerful, peppy, reasonably entertaining, but nothing special.
Verdict: Worth a watch once after you've burned through the better anime first. This is a reasonable time killer for most, but will be unbearable for some.

    The bad:
There is a lot of moaning/screaming in the vocals. One whole episode is the girl screaming and saying "I give up." It gets old after a while.

There are several episodes where nothing happens, which is sad for a 12-ep series. ...

Only A Real Wrestler Can See Through This!
Right off the bat, I am a trained professional wrestler as well as an artist who is studying animation. When I first saw the trailer for this show I was actually excited because I thought "Nice! A Wrestling Anime about Joshi!" But I was disappointed greatly by this show.
[Animation] The colors and art looked nice but in the wrestling I felt the action itself wasn't fluent enough. Some times the ...

Lots of pros and cons that lead to mixed feelings.
I have mixed feelings about this anime as there are a lot of great things about it as well as frustrating points.

The Pros: Beautiful animation of the characters in this series. I am extremely impressed with the variety of character design. What was more impressive was how well they animated the wrestling maneuvers to the degree that they did. You can tell they either did extensive research or ...

Pro wrestling and fanservice, a strange mix.
This series since its first episode had to show a great amount of fanservice, it did not disappoint me at all. However, it showed an annoying thing, the insupportable screams of the girl.
The plot was shabby, but the animation offset that. It is a fanservice anime after all.
As fanservice series was almost 4 stars.

    TOO MUCH FLUFF THE ANIME
This cant not be a fan service anime... right?

50 matches to the same gooch-showing move and nobody taught her how to counter it... and even when they did... the counter to the ultimate anti-protag move was to MAN THE FUCK UP. And I just watched the first 3 episodes.

Ippo was trained and ready to fight like a pro without all this fluff.

Needs more stone cold stunner and peoples ...

    An Ecchi Underdog Story
Update: If you're still on the fence about this anime, episode 6 will change your mind! Don't ask, just watch it!

When first watching this anime, it'll give you the impression that its nothing but an ecchi and fanservice fest. However, It's about a character, Hagiwara Sakura, striving to take on the challenge of being a pro wrestler. As the synopsis states, she was the lead singer of an ...

    A little girl screaming
I don't realy understand where this is going. It's now the 4th episode of this idol screaming in pain in the ring. Is this all? Oh, ecchi? You see them in bikinis and wrestling costumes, about as ecchi as Hayate. One more episode, then I give up.

We can all pretty much see where this is going...
After watching the first episode, I have an instant hatred towards the main character and can already figure out the ending. (Sakura goes through some hardships/trials and finally beats the wrestler... surprise...)

When Sakura and the other idol first went to the gym, they pretty much came in and talked shit about pro wrestling. How could they not expect the wrestler to give them the same ...
