  • A Female wrestling anime done right in a totally bad-ass way! ^_^
I really enjoyed watching this anime when it was first originally aired and simulcasted every week a few seasons back now, despite it's slightly off-putting over-use of ecchi and scantily clad/boobs/butts close-ups throughout which did take me a little by surprise, I'll openly admit! (Somewhat naïvely, LOL!!!) I still really liked the storyline, characters and it's good animation style regardless ...

  • So disappointed In This Anime.
You would think this would be a sweet, awesome anime, but you'd be dead wrong.
The sheer amount of flat characters and extremely unlikable main character is awful.
What's the point of having her struggles as the main focus of the show (even though those said struggles were in reality very minor and MADE into a big thing by the main character herself) if you can't relate to or look up to Sakura ...

  • Squealing, crying, and vagina
Really, that's basically all this is. Five episodes of the way through this lowest common denominator schlock and it's essentially a naive idol turned wrestler giving up because there's the slightest bit of pain. The main character is so algophobic that she just cries and scream like some stock character in some torture heavy horror film, all the while the re's close-ups of her crotch.

  • Painful to watch, but maybe not for the reason you'd think
I was pretty excited when I heard about this show. Female wrestlers! Even if it was a silly fanservice show, I would watch it and probably have a good ol' time. (I like Battle Girls: Time Paradox which was fun but made very little sense.)

But I couldn't get past the first 4 episodes. Why? Simply because I couldn't take any more of the Sakura laying on the mat crying in pain. It was just ...

  • Pretty decent series
Most people say this is ALL fan service but its not in the same league as Sekirei or Freezing. This does have a lot of female wrestlers wearing small outfits and putting submission holds and awkward suplexes so thats expected of a show about women wrestlers. Checkout the WWE and tell me its not any different lol. Anywho I finished the whole series on and actually I was hoping for more. It is short ...

Better than expected, but still mediocre at best
    Plus:

-it's a serious show about female wrestling. Not many of these around.
-it gets better towards the end.
    -nice plot twist, too.

    Minus:

-bad animation, with a lot of repeated moves and models obviously used to save money
-the main character's squeaking in pain is used way too much and grates almost instantly.
-bad pacing issues at the start.
-the ecchi aspects work against it; ...

2 Stars for fan-service, 0 stars for actual story
After suffering through the first half of this "Wanna Be the Hentai-ist in the world without actually being it" the story did pick up.

But the cheezy ending?!!! Seriously! just re-release this and put tentacles in it. At this point you can't make this worse!

How is this show getting 4 and 5 star ratings I don't even
Right, it's not like I don't get the point of this show - gratuitous fanservice using wrestling as an excuse - but that was the worst excuse for a sleeper hold I've ever seen and is an even worse finishing move in pro wrestling.

Take it for what it is. Good B movie class show.
This is fan service from start to finish, that said there is a plot if you can get you head out of the gutter and accept the show what it truly is. This is a slice of life in for an idol turned wrestler in a cheesecake setting nothing more. Expecting this show to be the next great something is expecting to much from the title and the production team knew it and did not go beyond what the title ...

COME BACK!! It's watchable now! 6 episodes later...
Yes it's still ecchi, yes the way she screams is still annoying, BUT there's an actual plot now. It's not the most amazing but it can be a somewhat endearing underdog story if you give it a chance. Mind you this "chance" is 6 episodes long....
