I just can't help to see they missed the mark. To understand, one has to know the wrestling momentum first and it's mechanics.

Positives: It's refreshing to see a character not win constantly. Sakura loses about 50 times in a row before she wins her first match. It's nice to see her train and get her ass handed to her self to get better.

Negatives: I just can't help feel like ...

  • God awful waste of time.
If you're expecting a serious anime about women's professional wrestling, look elsewhere. It's nothing more than a fanservicey train-wreck made to appeal to lonely men. If you want some pro-wrestling anime, watch Kinnikuman Nisei or wait for the remake of the venerable Tiger Mask series to hit Crunchyroll.

As one Bryan Alvarez would say:

    MINUS. FIVE. STARS.

  • So disappointed In This Anime.
You would think this would be a sweet, awesome anime, but you'd be dead wrong.
The sheer amount of flat characters and extremely unlikable main character is awful.
What's the point of having her struggles as the main focus of the show (even though those said struggles were in reality very minor and MADE into a big thing by the main character herself) if you can't relate to or look up to Sakura ...

  • Squealing, crying, and vagina
Really, that's basically all this is. Five episodes of the way through this lowest common denominator schlock and it's essentially a naive idol turned wrestler giving up because there's the slightest bit of pain. The main character is so algophobic that she just cries and scream like some stock character in some torture heavy horror film, all the while there's close-ups of her crotch.

  • Painful to watch, but maybe not for the reason you'd think
I was pretty excited when I heard about this show. Female wrestlers! Even if it was a silly fanservice show, I would watch it and probably have a good ol' time. (I like Battle Girls: Time Paradox which was fun but made very little sense.)

But I couldn't get past the first 4 episodes. Why? Simply because I couldn't take any more of the Sakura laying on the mat crying in pain. It was just ...

  • Pretty decent series
Most people say this is ALL fan service but its not in the same league as Sekirei or Freezing. This does have a lot of female wrestlers wearing small outfits and putting submission holds and awkward suplexes so thats expected of a show about women wrestlers. Checkout the WWE and tell me its not any different lol. Anywho I finished the whole series on and actually I was hoping for more. It is short ...

Rumble Roses meets anime. Nuff said.
Wanna be the Strongest in the world is another entry in the ecchi genre, which has seen more of a rise over the past years. This series is actually pretty similar to the video game Rumble Roses, which is basically all about fanservice.

I actually discovered this series though it's promotional video which a friend on YouTube sent me. After watching the said PV, I didn't expect much out of it. ...

Don't regret spending 6 hours watching this
Not gonna lie, When I started this anime It was for the jiggling boobies and random muff-diving in matches, but I stayed for the storyline and character development. The pacing of this anime definitely gets you frustrated in the beginning but mainly because its a soft-core hentai until episode 6. During that episode you get the point of episode 3-6. I truly enjoyed this anime when it was all said ...

    1 star for fanservice
Ep 1, Elena say: " Pro wrestling is easier than she thought ", she just a fucking idol , didn't know anything about wrestling. She was the one disrespect westling. Everyone in that gym train so hard so they can become a wrestler and a airhead bitch came in kick a sandbag then say wrestling is easy. WTF come into her head. And I hate the part Sakura say : Rio underestimate idol, even though her ...

    Pop stars to wrestling
This show was alright. I did like it because it did have a nice turn of events that happened. It was definitely about pantie shots and boobs, won't lie. I have no idea how the manga is played out but it did have some slow moments where it dragged longer than it should have. If you're looking for something light hearted, then this will hit the spot
