Slice of life with a dose of reality
Being a fan of slice of life anime series, I often find many of them to be somewhat contrary to the genre by often being set in very idyllic or fantastic settings and circumstance or with unbelievable characters. Watamote on the other hand is a refreshing take on the genre and oftentimes subverts it's viewers expectations. In this anime you have Tomoko Kuroki, an extremely shy and socially awkward ...

    Not a Single Dull Moment
WataMote, or No Matter How I Look at It, It’s You Guys' Fault I’m Not Popular!, is directed by Shin Oonuma. This show is revolved around an awkward, otome game-loving girl named Tomoko Kuroki who thinks that she will finally become popular in high school. However, that is not the case and for the rest of the current series tries to become less of an introvert.
    If you don't like little-to-no-plot ...

Since i'm not popular, i think we both have a lot in common (and that's why i love her)!
    - "THE ANIME OPENING IS PERFECT!!!"

Well, despite all the time she freezes rather than talk, i think i have a lot in common with her...
She is a nerd and an otaku, she loves animes, mangas, she dream with doing awesome things but never does... She wanna talk to everyone, have fun with friends... But she doesnt, just because she doesnt know how to approach to people and how to start a ...

Very riveting, the mind of a "Mojo" is a mysterious thing!
I loved this anime, strangely usually I don't find slice of life anime's like this one to be interesting but as a sufferer of social anxiety myself I was drawn into it as soon as I read the synopsis. I found Kuroki Tomoko's inner thoughts to be the spotlight of the show, and although I think a little touch of serious would have made this show just perfect I found it refreshing and an ...

~No Matter How You Look at It, It'll be You Guys Fault If You Don't Watch This~
The best anime of the summer season. I never thought that a anime like this would come out that soon. It is new, cool, funny and definitely is the most POPULAR. This show has many references to others. I love Mokocchi because she has a weird cuteness.
This show is hilarious, so, do not miss.

    Anime has a new masterpiece
WataMote is amazing. It made me laugh a lot, it almost made me cry several times (especially after the last line of ep. 12), it broke my heart repeatedly and constantly made me feel incredibly uncomfortable and it often did several of these things in the space of a minute. It's also very polarizing and IMO all of these things combined make it a great work of art.

Not for everyone, Yet still funny.
The MC of this show is great.
It shows the personality of some socially inept people pretty accurate IN WAYS. In that case, I can sort of Relate to that sense.
This show isn't for anyone though, I will definitely say that.
For people who are very social and have a bunch of friends at school or whatever, you might not understand it. But in some ways, the experience the MC has on the show is like ...
