    A Shy Otaku's Life?!
Obviously not. Tomoko Kuroki is in her first year of high school, and she wants to become popular. Everything backfires on her, however. The situations are funny, but some will make you cringe and pity her.
Tomoko is introverted, extremely shy and perverted. She seems to look down on the popular kids in her class, but when spoken to, she goes into a shy-spasm. I have to say, I really liked the ...

    Hilarious Entertainment, Needs More Plot
Watamote is a hilarious show, especially when you're an "Otaku". There's a lot of references to other anime shows, and it's really funny when you catch it. The thing is, they say the references so fast that it can be hard to catch. The show is primarily about a hardcore otaku girl, whose into otome gaming, anime, and not socializing. Haha, close to your life, right? She's determined to make ...

  • My Feels.... They can't handle it
In my opinion this is a tough anime to watch. The animation is good, and the opening is pretty cool. The biggest issue is that it is just painful to see the main character go about her life. I couldn't get past episode 7 cause of it. Its very relatable in a certain cense and that makes the awkward moments in the anime that much harder to watch. Its good, but you need to prepare yourself if you're ...

    Not enough of a plot
Although this anime was filled with second-hand embarrassment and Tomoko was extremely determined at aiming to be what she calls 'popular', I don't really like how she made almost 0 progress throughout the series. Yes, this anime is mostly a comedy, but it just doesn't have enough of a plot. It gets almost irritating to watch, and each episode soon becomes very predictable; she'll just go back to ...

Funny, quirky, all around a great time.
Watamote, though very unusual and showing little to no character progression, is quite the treat for anime loves looking for a good 12-episodes of laughter. Tomoko's views on 'getting popular' are hysterical. Sometimes, watamote can give a tug at your "feels" when the unpopular Tomoko cries from failing, but then you somehow end up laughing again when she replaces a failure of her last awful ...

    Not a Single Dull Moment
WataMote, or No Matter How I Look at It, It’s You Guys' Fault I’m Not Popular!, is directed by Shin Oonuma. This show is revolved around an awkward, otome game-loving girl named Tomoko Kuroki who thinks that she will finally become popular in high school. However, that is not the case and for the rest of the current series tries to become less of an introvert.
    If you don't like little-to-no-plot ...

Since i'm not popular, i think we both have a lot in common (and that's why i love her)!
    - "THE ANIME OPENING IS PERFECT!!!"

Well, despite all the time she freezes rather than talk, i think i have a lot in common with her...
She is a nerd and an otaku, she loves animes, mangas, she dream with doing awesome things but never does... She wanna talk to everyone, have fun with friends... But she doesnt, just because she doesnt know how to approach to people and how to start a ...
