Since i'm not popular, i think we both have a lot in common (and that's why i love her)!
    - "THE ANIME OPENING IS PERFECT!!!"

Well, despite all the time she freezes rather than talk, i think i have a lot in common with her...
She is a nerd and an otaku, she loves animes, mangas, she dream with doing awesome things but never does... She wanna talk to everyone, have fun with friends... But she doesnt, just because she doesnt know how to approach to people and how to start a ...

Really funny at times, but it gets tedious
The show is about a socially awkward, gloomy girl who wants to be popular when she gets to high school. Hijinks ensue.

There are some really funny moments in this show. Every other episode or so I'd have a full belly laugh. It really isn't a bad watch to kill time.

That said, the show gets tedious after a while. The character makes no progress and there is no large overall plot. I can only ...

    a very weird anime...........
At first I was pulled into it because I feel like the main character relates to me. She is so insecure, paranoid, and cares waaay too much about being popular. But then, I started to feel like the anime is getting nowhere and she wasn't getting any character development whatsoever. She stay the same throughout the anime. The show displays her thoughts waaay which results in little dialogue and no ...

    why watamote? ill tell you
I love this anime so much, if you like to see what awkward girls think and act like. this is definitely a must watch. she experiences different things everyday and she tries to see how she can better herself but if you love sad, happy and weird this is a just another reason to watch. the opening is great also!

The Main Character is Too Loveable?
Before I start let it be known I'm currently on the 6th episode of this series, so my opinion is somewhat premature. I seem to be compelled to express a nagging issue I've taken with the source of this series humor, so much so that I can't even wait 6 more episodes to review it.

I'll say this much, I do like this anime.

I like the OP theme also the various endings are a nice quality touch, ...

    Warning Not For Everyone
The show follows Kuroki Tomoko as she tries to navigate her way through high school- at least what she thinks is high school. Long story short, this girl is awkward. How awkward? Extremely. So awkward that you start to feel depressed for her even when she is not. The worst part is you most likely can relate to at least some of her oddness, whether it is looking at the mirror and calling yourself ...

Story of My Life Thus Far
I can completely relate to Tomoko -_- From Middle School up until my last year in High School nearly ended I was completely embarrassingly, painfully, awkward just like her. Jeez Louis, it's almost hard to watch.
It's a really great show that pretty much sums up everything if you're an awkward teen.
    I hope they release a season 2!

Very riveting, the mind of a "Mojo" is a mysterious thing!
I loved this anime, strangely usually I don't find slice of life anime's like this one to be interesting but as a sufferer of social anxiety myself I was drawn into it as soon as I read the synopsis. I found Kuroki Tomoko's inner thoughts to be the spotlight of the show, and although I think a little touch of serious would have made this show just perfect I found it refreshing and an ...

No Matter How I Look at It, It's a Cringe-Worthy, Dark Comedy
Behold, Watamote. A somewhat faithful anime adaptation of the manga centering around an introverted young girl named Tomoko Kuroki who was never popular in middle school. Armed with a vast knowledge from playing too many high school simulator/ dating games, Tomoko is very determined to be popular in high school. Will she become popular in high school? Don't ask me, I ain't spoilin' ...

This show isn't for everyone, but it was for me
Watamote is one of the funniest 'slice of life' anime's that Ive watched. I call it 'slice of life' because unfortunately it reminds me of the life of myself and my best friend. My best friend would be Tomoko though. I, Yu. Every episode ended with me wondering what 'Mokocchi' will flounder next. To say the least, I loved it. Enough to the point I plan on buying the BluRay/DVD when it becomes ...
