~No Matter How You Look at It, It'll be You Guys Fault If You Don't Watch This~
The best anime of the summer season. I never thought that a anime like this would come out that soon. It is new, cool, funny and definitely is the most POPULAR. This show has many references to others. I love Mokocchi because she has a weird cuteness.
This show is hilarious, so, do not miss.

Painfully Funny, or "Ha! Ha! Ha! Stop that! It Hurts! Ha! Ha! Ha!..."
I don't always laugh out loud when I watch comedies, and I don't always feel so bad for the protagonist when sad things happen, but when I do, it's cause I was watching Watamote. There were so many funny moments in this series. I laughed out loud many times throughout, that's rare for me. The most you'll usually get out of me is a smirk and a goofy grin on my mug. However, Watamote pulled them ...

Since I'm not popular, I love this show.
Can't say I'm huge fan when it comes to this genre of anime, but Watamote really struck a chord in me.

The anime follows the misadventures of 15 year-old Tomoko Kuroki on her quest to climb up the social ladder during her first year of High School. Unfortunately for Tomoko, her extreme social ineptitude and awkwardness prevent her from doing so. A textbook otaku/hikikomori, watching Tomoko's ...

  • Man I hope they make more of this!
I don't think I've ever seen a girl otaku series but after watching this, I'm looking for more. Her struggles and thought processes are funny, interesting, and compare to my own in ways that make me accompany in her embarrassment. Remembering those things you said or did in school that embarrass you is a reality for many of us, being able to laugh at it is essential. Loved this series and hope to ...

  • Being popular or socially awkward?
I heard a lot of rave towards this being made into an anime. I had watched the first episode when it came out and I was very indifferent about it. So I left it alone and decided to rewatch later with a different mindset.

Yes, it can be hard to watch. This painful socially awkward girl is just trying to make it through life. It had its moments and references, I just wished it developed a little ...

A little disappointing, but it is hilarious.
Watamote takes a look at the antics of an unpopular girl aiming to get recognized.

The cringe-worthy comedy of Watamote is the high point of the show. There were times when I nearly fell out of my chair because I was laughing so hard. Unfortunately other aspects of the show fail to deliver.

I spent the whole season hoping that maybe there would be a little bit of character development, but ...

    Forever alone, A Neckbeard's Saga
If you are like me, a lonely basement dweller with little to no friends (and no offence but I assume you are), then you will love this series. It's utterly hilarious, stuffed with anime references, and filled to the brim with crude sexual humor. Watch it.

    Anime has a new masterpiece
WataMote is amazing. It made me laugh a lot, it almost made me cry several times (especially after the last line of ep. 12), it broke my heart repeatedly and constantly made me feel incredibly uncomfortable and it often did several of these things in the space of a minute. It's also very polarizing and IMO all of these things combined make it a great work of art.

Lament 1: Since I'm not popular...I will write a review
This comedy can be a rollercoaster ride of feels. It is a gag anime at its core and fans of anime like excel saga, azumanga daio, lucky star and nichijou will get the most out of it. Don't fall into the trap like many viewers have and expect the formula to change because you will have a bad time - that said if you enjoy the first few episodes do yourself a favor and finish it you will be glad you ...

The War on Popularity Still Wages On
Even though several come to mind, it would be a stretch to try an relate this series to other ones. I could say that this series is like Oreimo on opposite day. I've enjoyed it from the very beginning and I recommend it to anyone who can remember or is currently in the rat race to being popular among their peers. This series is a pleasant break from the usually harem high school series. I've ...
