    interesting in a weird way
This is by far one of the most different anime series I have seen as of yet. The main character is just socially awkward and she is a female, it is usually a male playing that role. But she tries everything to figure out why she isn't popular and the awkward and funny moments present themselves. I love it, give it a shot it is something different.

Great Comedy, will have you cringing at times! 5/5
It's a great anime, its insanely funny and the amount of awkward moments that happen throughout the show are cringeworthy, it's really good though! It's pretty different then most slice of life animes in my opinion, you won't regret watching it though! Give it a shot! 5/5!

    Cringy, but very good
This anime is so cringy it's almost a horror movie. It's so incredibly relatable that it almost makes me cry to see what I actually act like in public. But this anime is funny and the characters are pretty cool... so watch it.

    I Love This So Much!
One of my favorite shows right now, I can't always relate to it, but it makes me cringe. I feel bad for her, i really hope she can overcome her shyness one day and become popular! I love this show so much!

Repetitive tiring jokes, but quite funny if not done excessively
Watamote has a great main character, however I'm tired of the repetitive joke, that is, the constant "I'm a loser, but I'm delusional so I'm going to blame other people" joke. It got boring and tiring after a few episodes.

Other than that, there are some subtle parodies to other animes like Chihayafuru and also literature like "Grapes of Wrath" being turned into "Oranges of Wrath".

    After ...

Love is too weak a word.
    Summary:
Having been well-versed in the world of otome games, fifteen-year-old Tomoko Kuroki believes that she would become popular upon entering high school. However, she discovers this is far from the truth as she winds up being an unsociable loner and is forced to take a long hard look at herself for the first time in years. The story follows Tomoko as she attempts to improve her social status ...

Lots of hype, not a lot of delivery.
The hype that surrounded this show was insane, when a PV was released people were going nuts that this is going to be the new comic great to stand among Azumanga Daioh, and then the show came, and it was meh.

There are a couple of problems with this show.

The main character shifts from being funnily awkward to straight out uncomfortable to watch. I often am not laughing at the show but ...
