    A good start, but...
The storyline is promising and the animation seems pretty decent. It has its moments where it seems really good then is suddenly really bad. I guess it evens out.

The main romance interest is absolutely annoying. I might consider muting the volume while she's talking, as it is migraine inducing to hear her scream at the main character constantly. I'm so over the played out "nii-san is such a ...

    Forgettable, Unoriginal
There is always an anime every season that appeals to a group of people who just want another iteration of ecchi tropes. You have a male protagonist with no personality who is absolutely adored by girls of varying cup sizes through no effort of his own. World Break is that anime this season.

For people who don't know, World Break is a fantasy action romance where people use superpowers (sword ...

    The person this appeals too.
I understand full well why people dislike World Break. Its a Harem, it has fan-service, the idea has been done before and this is by no means original or ground breaking.

What I Like: I like the animation, and I feel bad for liking it, but I do. I like the slightly emotional played out story trope, and the main character. I like how it is just like every other harem but seems to lack the ...

    Great idea, poor execution
I love the idea behind World Break: Aria of Curse for a Holy Swordsman. Here it is, a main character who is not a prodigy of combat and magic but gifted (call it luck) with a superior, I don't know, call it circumstance. It all started out well - a mysterious past and an exciting present mixed with a bunch of harem and random romance. It would have continued to be a good story if everything didn't ...

World Break: Aria of Curse for a Holy Swordsman
At the moment, I am seriously enjoying this new show. I watched the first episode a few times, and I am waiting more. Of course the whole instantaneous heroine introductions, which in both cases were random, and not only quick but resulting in the immediate attraction towards the protagonist kind of annoyed me but the back story is interesting, and the kick-off battle in the beginning had an epic ...

    World Break is a Harem
And a good one at that.

The thing about this show is that it has all its cookies in the harem basket. It doesn't particularly try to hard to stray from that. Because we've been blessed with some amazing harems that really push the envelope of some quirky-style harem of late (Saekano, Trinity Seven), a series that uses the standard skeleton may look a bit lackluster to many who aren't a fan of ...

My thoughts on World Break ^.^
World Break: Aria of Curse for a Holy Sword Okay I feel the title was self explanatory if not let me explain. Started off well and i was feeling it (by starting out well i mean the first few minutes) now im not the biggest harem fan but this one is somewhat manageable. Male protagonist Moroha somewhat overpowerede has two past lives while everyone else has one. I feel as though the anime ...

I don't know how to feel about World Break: Aria of Curse for a Holy Swordsman
    **WARNING THIS IS LONG**
Honestly, in a season filled with shows like Durararax2, Tokyo Ghoul, and a few other noticeable shows on my pallet, World Break to me was more-so an afterthought than anything else. Just from looking at the name, I had written the show off as nothing but a typical fan-servicey harem with super-powers. Considering the big influx of those kinds of shows and their abundance ...

An interesting premise wasted on a dull, uninspired harem
The 2015 winter season had some uncommon harem shows; some started out pretty badly but became better later on, while others seemed to have potential at first but were ultimately forgettable. This series, unfortunately, belongs to the latter group.

It's a shame, because the setup of the series is something I haven't seen before: the two main girls vying for the male lead's attention have a ...
