Yeong Jo the old fart King is Dong Yi's Son, do your research. Watch episode 60 and it'll tell you he is the 21st king. And this is Yeong Jo, the old fart 21st king. He is a good King. You have to take into account his perspective.
For those who think Yeong-Jo is Dong-Yi's son your wrong he is her grandson and would not even know his grandmother who left the palace while her husband was still king.
Korea never gives credit to these kid actors in their soaps, wtf ...I wanna know who this kid is so I can see what other films he made ..and the lil girl Jang-Geum girl >:(
How in the hell can that old fart king want to believe his own son is innocent when he's responsible for his death for treason? Has the old goat no soul?!
@Zybeel. This is what 20 or 30 years of politics will do to you. I'll bet Obama has sat in the Oval office and realized doing the right thing and honor don't mix in politics.
aw I wanted to watch the little kids a bit more. They are so good and cute. Daesu reminds me of Mopalmo at a young age LOLz.. A lot of the actors look familiar.
@ILoveJapaneseGirls Totally agree with you but Jumong had a HUGE budget that is y they had the money to spend on silk and other beautiful fabrics they used like the fabrics they used in Queen Seon Duk was sooooo beautiful
I looked up the Korean timeline on Wikipedia at all the eras of Korean rule after having watched and enjoyed Jumong. This takes place some 2000 years after Jumongs era. I liked the fashion in Jumong better than the silly hats in this show.
hold up... didn't the crown prince die? was that him before he died the assasin looked shocked the find out that was the crown prince .... am i getting the names mixed up is that the royal grandson? or the grandsons dad?
The King (Grandfather) is doing his best to make a good king out of his grandson. I feel that the current King is actually a pretty good ruler. He's just a bit too trusting of the aristocrats. this is ironic, considering his wisdom...
