There may only be two episodes, but I'm in love...
This is the kind of low-key slice of life I signed up for. Gentle, caring guys serving food and tea and (ugly but well-intentioned) coffee in a beautiful cafe? Heck yes! The food is beautiful, the cat is cute, plus, it's easy and enjoyable to watch. Just enough plot to keep you interested, but nothing intense about it. This show is like drinking a warm cup of tea after a long, hard day's work. It ...

No its not Gay, it's actually just very heartwarming
When I first saw the poster for this anime I thought that it would be an anime with a lot of male eye candy and intense yaoi vibes. However the reviews seemed good and I was in need of a casual heartwarming anime to watch, so I decided to give it a try. Im very glad that I did. The poster has 4 fab looking main dudes, however there is no yaoi vibes or undertones - their relationship is just ...

Warm and soothing - I love this already!
I've always had a soft spot for calming and simple shows like this one where I can just sit back and relax without having to think too much about what's going on. I appreciate the fact that we're getting an insight into how some Japanese-style cafés are run, while still being humoured by the main characters' interactions with each other and their customers.

A Cool Breeze on a Hot Day
This is a relaxing slice-of-life anime about a cafe run by four men, each filling different roles within the cafe. Their goal is to bring a smile to the faces of their customers, while providing a relaxing and welcoming atmosphere.

As the title of the review says, this anime feels like a cool breeze on a hot day.

Yotsuiro Biyori is just what I needed
Noting that this show's main characters are all males made me fear that this would be a harem situation (not particularly fond of that.) Instead, this show turned out to have so much heart, care, and love in it. I've burst out laughing many times, and have felt better after watching each episode. It makes me want to open up my own cafe one day. This anime excels in transporting the viewer to a ...

Good Food, Cute Guys, and Heartwarming Atmosphere!
Do you have a place you go to whenever life stresses you out? A favorite coffee shop or a diner where you go to escape from the toils of work and life just for a little bit? Well, then Yotsuiro Biyori is the show for you.

The title of my review says it all, honestly. No, it's not another cafe harem thing. Yotsuiro Biyori is one of those Slice of Life shows that come around once in a blue moon ...

Heartwarming series about four passionate friends
This isn't just another food centered anime or a bunch of personality-less pretty faces. Each character is a distinct individual with their own talents, personality, hobbies, and strengths. We get a little look into each character's past with a little more emphasis on Suiro, the owner. It is slice of life, and it's a slower paced, take it easy kind of slice of life at their old school style cafe ...

Pretty boys and food...what else do you need?
I really like the slow pace and gentle everyday life approach of this anime. It has some great characters and every episode has something cute about it, can't get enough and I don't even know why I am addicted. Definitely look to more than one season to come.

    Perfect cosy viewing
If you liked Laid Back Camp during the winter season, this is your spring equivalent. Sure, it stars handsome, gentle guys running a cafe instead of cute, moe girls going camping, but the vibe is very similar and there's a cute cat as a bonus.

If you also like looking at nicely-animated, well-illustrated food, you'll probably enjoy this, and I've found myself learning a bit about traditional ...

    Flying Witch in a Cafe
    LOVE this anime!!!
It has all of the light hearted wholesomeness of flying witch with a new setting and new characters. I fully recommend it if you like a good calm slice of life. It's very relaxing while at the same time being up beat and cheerful. A nice anime when you just want to relax and feel happy!
