  • Truly a masterpiece...
I am awed. No words if you are looking for an anime to make you cry then FRICK this is the one. I don't know what to say I have only cried in one other anime out of all the ones I have watched. This really got to me and my specific ratings are below.

    Art/Animation: 9.0
    Plot/Theme: 9.5
    Characters/Development: 10.0
    Music/Voices: 9.5

(Good enough for a 5 star)

  • Beautiful Masterpiece!
I cried a few times while watching this. There's no doubt about it at all. The character design is very nice. The animation is very lively and touching that it engulfs you. The music is also nice. Nothing so much to say but I dare you to check it out.

  • Some parts are exquisite; some are complete trash
I LOVED the music and some of the animation sequences, but the plot... oh God, the plot. It was about as trope-filled, manipulative and, at times, abusive as the characters! Not to mention predictable and pedantic. Abused, depressed musician meets musical manic pixie dream girl with a terminal illness who drags him out of the deep end and and puts him through the wringer, and for what?! So we can ...

  • Love's Passion, Sorrow & Kreutzer
Tsubaki, Kousei, and Watari. The three are an inseparable trio of friends whom have all grown up in each other's company. Tsubaki and Watari being passionate at soccer and softball and Kousei loving music. Learning from his mother, Kousei was discovered to be a prodigy with the ability to play with his emotions reaching all those in audience. His mother's passing changed all of that... Though ...

    Terrible Show, Awful Characters
This show is one of the worst I've seen. It's ugly, annoying, and melodramatic. All of the secondary characters say and do terrible things to the protagonist. At one point it's revealed that his teacher was aware that the protagonist was being abused by his mother as a child. Rather than reporting it, she said and did nothing. Years later, she tells him his mother only abused him so he would ...

  • Music is a an expression of emotions
Music is a journey and a expression of emotions.

This series will pull you in and probably emotionally invested where you will shed tears along with the characters. I found myself crying a few times and I do not regret having taking this adventure.

This series touched me a lot personally being a pianist and many things that happened to Kosei also happened to me. It truly does affect one's ...

    This anime sure has impact.
If I were to describe this anime in one word it would be impact. The feeling this anime leaves on you after you finish is not like any other anime. The feels are strong with this one.

I recommend you watch this late at night when you are alone, and binge it all the way through till morning. And of course don't be afraid to cry :).

  • My Favorite Anime of All Time
This will forever be my favorite anime of all time. The animation and pure art of the show makes it beautiful to watch, and the characters' development in the series is inspiring and surprising. This show tears me apart every time and I always end up watching it again. There is so much depth, but also light hearted moments that leave you totally invested. I may be a total sap, but nothing will ...

  • Absouletly Amazing Music is Life
An opus to love, sorrow, and so much more. Words can not give this show justice. Let the music tell the story which it does in more ways than one. I would love to see the writers develop a version of this show 10 years letter. Or focus on a complete different subject like sports. I give this show a thousand stars if I could.
