    Amazing Characters with Entertaining Plot.
Sports anime's come out every now and then. Some are good, some not so much. However this show does not thrive due to the sport it portrays. It's strengths are the amazing cast of characters. Not only are the designs great and unique, but the personalities are wonderful and likable. Everyone is relatable on some aspect. Also as an anime fan, who doesn't love a main character who is well... "like ...

A cycling anime couldn't have been done better.
I am an avid cyclist and race Cat 3 on the road, so naturally I was very excited for this anime, and it didn't disappoint. The story is intense, all of the characters except for Kinjou are charismatic and interesting with good development (my faves are Makishima, Arakita, and Midousuji), there is good humor, and the animation is beautiful. Predictably some aspects of road racing are highly ...

Never thought I'd be addicted to a sports anime.
I'm an avid cyclist and thought I'd give Yowamushi Pedal a try. I was HOOKED after the first episode! Yowapeda has a great cast of engaging characters. You will find yourself rooting for all of them. This series is hilarious and captivating, and really makes you feel love for the sport of bicycling. Cyclists who enjoy anime: I cannot recommend Yowapeda enough! I now find myself singing the Hime ...

Don't judge an Anime by its Genre
So i was dancing around the idea of watching this anime because of good reviews and decided not to because well, what is a cycling anime even about!?
After watching Haikyuu and Ace of the Diamond I was a little crazy for sports anime so I thought "hell! i'll just watch a few episodes to try it out!". After just a few episodes in I was hooked!

    Yowapeda has great ...

Considerably more realist than I could have ever expected
I've loved anime since I was a kid, but I was never able to get into sports anime. As I got older, I found my niche in cycling and over time worked my way into the industry, eventually becoming a full time bicycle mechanic to supplement my lifestyle while away at school. Imagine my surprise when I found a show that combined the two things that I loved! The show is not only highly entertaining, but ...

    Surprisingly fun and addictive show.
How cool could a show about riding bikes be? Even riding racing bikes... seriously? Turns out, very cool. The characters are charming. The main lead is cute in that helpless puppy way "Soon you will grow to be a awesome dog, but right now your paws are still to big for your body" sort of thing. The supporting cast is sufficiently varied and individually interesting. The animation quality is good ...

An Anime I never thought I'd watching But Love to Death
Ok so I am not usually a big sports anime fan. However, I do watch sports that I love like basketball, volleyball, and tennis. When I first saw this anime at a glance it did not look like something I would be interested in. But with me actually wanting to start cycling this summer I decided ( after reading reviews) to watch it. And I have to say I love this anime!!! The characters are loveable and ...

Yowamushi Pedal needs some more attention!
Already after three episodes, Yowamushi Pedal has lead me to believe that it will most likely be one of the top animes this season has to offer. Within the first episode, I already found myself hooked as it introduces a likeable yet relatable main character, Sakamachi Onoda, an otaku who is dedicated to bringing back the anime club at his high school. Who watched this and didn't think that this ...

    Absolutely Addicting
I hate sports. So I figured I'd probably dislike sports anime.
    I was so wrong.
I decided to check out Yowapeda after seeing how large the fanbase is & getting curious, and I fell in love. This show was addicting from start to finish, and while it usually takes me weeks to finish a 12-episode anime, I managed to watch most of Yowapeda in less than a week. I simply couldn't put it down.
