    A more serious show!
YuGiOh! was very childish at first and this takes a more serious tone rather than one that is sugar coated. Normally yugioh is more for children and tones it down unlike this newest show it takes a show about a children's card game into a show about a duel of wits and realism. overall it is more serious as it was meant to be not childish.

    INTO THE BRAAAAAAINS
Love the series it's got a great balance between story progression and duels, also the characters are real real goood, besides the concept of having 2 different dueling styles (master and speed) is very nice and gives us a variety of different duels although grabing cards you need from storm access is kinda meh and lazy imo

    Absolutely wonderful
I have watched YuGiOh seasons from the very start. At first when ZeXal came out I was thinking it would be a bit odd , however I continued watching it and it became amazing, similarly arc-v was in my opinion the best YuGiOh season as of yet though it took a little while to get started. However despite this VRAINS , takes almost no time to get to a higher point.

    It is interesting right ...

    Plenty of potential, wasted.
Yugioh VRAINS has a solid premise; a futuristic city where dueling is done online, allowing people to adopt new personas that reflect who they want to be. In that city, there are a group of cyberterrorists who want to hunt down a rogue AI called Ignis and destroy it, and they do not care who gets hurt along the way.

Unfortunately, the show is just really badly written, directed, and paced. ...

    A refreshing new look
Yu-Gi-Oh! VRAINS has brought back a darker and more realistic tone to the show that hasn't been seen since Yu-Gi-Oh! 5Ds, and the handling of these characters is superb. The plot is flowing great, and the visuals are stunning. I hope VRAINS can launch Yu-Gi-Oh! back into mainstream anime like Duel Monsters was before it.

    I like Yu-Gi-Oh! Vrains more than Yu-Gi-Oh! Arc-v
I'm 33 episode in and I'm enjoying this spin-off of Yu-Gi-Oh! I generally don't like the spin-offs of the Yu-Gi-Oh! because I grow up with the original series of Yu-Gi-Oh! in the 90's.

Yu-Gi-Oh! Vrains is one of the best Yu-Gi-Oh! Spin-off I have seen and I'm hard to impress.

Great Series, possibly the best Yugioh show
This is a great series. It has a great plot, okay action and continuously gets better every episode. It's has a pretty slow pacing but, it is still enjoyable. The number of recap episodes is a bit concerning but, you can always skip them. Even though this isn't saying much, I think this is the best of the Yugioh series.

    Why does this exist?
Okay, so I've been watching Yu-gi-oh since I was a wee lad, granted some of the writing was bad but at least the game was relatively close to what it plays like in real life. Especially after the first season when they got to the city championship. This show however is nowhere near to the actual card game, the story is quite bad, with characters that are not interesting in the least. I'm am pretty ...

Sticks to formula to an annoying degree
It's been 27 episodes and 2 of them have been recaps. The characters are one-dimensional, the plot basic and the duels really cheap. Overall if you're seen any Yu-Gi-Oh! series, you've seen this one. The only thing that makes this stand out is a childish belief that maturity is angsty and revenge.

    Really refreshing Yu-Gi-Oh! Series
After the bad ending of Arc V i had absolutely no interest in the announcement of another YGO Series. And when VRAINS was out i ignored the first few episodes. But then i watched a short clip from this Series first episode and what finally got me to watch this show was the Main Protagonist, Yusaku Fujiki (or Playmaker in VRAINS).
Enter a serious, "older" and mature main character who sees ...
