  • Too cute and silly for words.
Firmly set in the slice of life moe genre Yuyushiki offers extremely cute characters, zany antics, and tonnes of smart word play. Plus you might actually learn something as the girls research topics ranging from whales to potatoes. The opening theme is also fun and energetic.

    Implications! Puns! FUNNY!
YuYushiki is an interesting number, employing random topics, cuteness overload and a butt-load of wordplay into its comedic stylings. But is it worth your time?

The answer is a resounding, "Ehh... maybe~?" Not because it lacks quality, but because it will only appeal to certain viewers. I first decided to give this one a look after finding a few funny remixes of it on YouTube. The ...

    SUPER FANTASTIC YURI IMPLIED EXPLOSION!!!
This series can be easily overlooked as a "moe sugoii desu nyan:3" kinda anime because of the art style the show has, but any peasant stupid or ignorant enough to do this is missing out on pure gold. Even with yuyushiki's random humour and insanely adorable characters the ending... to be frank sucks hairy ass. The first time i saw the series i felt like i had been fucked... in the ass... by a ...

    Good, funny, and cute slice-of-life
I tend to write rather long anime reviews, but I think Yuyushiki will break that trend. There's simply not much to say about it.

Yuyushiki is a pretty standard slice-of-life comedy show. It's funny, enjoyable, cute as can be, and very consistent in its quality through its 12 episodes. I could complain about various parts of the show—most notably the fact that the Data Processing ...

    Typical slice of life-series
Yuyushiki tells the story of three girls in a high school club. Think you've heard it all before? Well, let me just say that this show is like nothing you've seen before! The shocking truth is that these three girls don't actually do anything. At all. Gasp! Gasp! I know, quite shocking, is it not? Although this is a pretty straightforward title, it does have some redeeming qualities. For starters, ...

A cute series for slice-of-life fans
Let's get this out of the way now. If you are not a fan of the moe/slice of life kind of show, then this show probably won't do anything to sway your opinion.

That being said, for fans of these kinds of anime, this isn't a bad show at all. There isn't anything too special about it, for example, the characters are what you would usually see in other slice of life shows (the smart one, the crazy ...

Just Another Sitcom... But That's Not REALLY a Bad Thing
Another anime season, another situational comedy. Oh boy, I'm so excited...

That is your typical response from a regular viewer of productions who has found themselves oversaturated on anime comedies and is likely very burnt out on them as a whole. However, Yuyushiki is the first 'comedy' I've watched in over a year, the last being Humanity Has Declined... Which while it was a comedy, was ...

    Yuyushiki episode 1!
This show has potential to me it is funny and cute with just enough balance of both. I didn't get too much personality out of Yui-Chan but I get the feeling she will open up as time passes. Can't wait until the next episode!!

This show is Moe Moe Kyun™
If you enjoy these types of shows I'd honestly recommend Yuru Yuri, Lucky Star, K-On or Azumanga Daioh over this. If like me you've watched all those and still want more slices of life then by all means watch this. It's enjoyable enough.
