[updated for the finished show] 4 episodes in and I'm already feeling like I'm forcing myself to keep watching.
I generally dislike reviewing a show before finishing it. But frankly I don't think I want to finish this show. It's extremely episodic and the main characters have gotten almost no actual character development because so far each episode has focused very heavily on a "character of the day".

While each episode has developed an interesting character it seems like that development is pointless ...

Not for everyone, but it is amazing.
I personally like this anime very much. I know this anime is not for anyone and I understand why some people will not like this show. But I still like it.

The reason I write this is not to suggest you to watch it, but tell you why I like this show. Before I start, you need to know that this show has different directors and different theme, sometime different art style, with unique ED for every ...

Weird, but in a good way, like Paprika
Okay so I just watched the first episode, and decided to give this a five star rating so far. It's concise and let's in from the very beginning that you're going to experience something surreal. I noticed a couple of silly reviews that clearly missed the point. If you don't like surreal shows, this is not for you, and you shouldn't rate it low because you can't appreciate it. In any case, I'm ...

    A Constant Surprise!
I recommend it. In each episode, Haruto has to wake a troubled girl from her dreams. This is an experimental piece, and each episode is a different genre.

This show is also undeniably a mess. The animation is inconsistent. Character arcs are hard to follow. The themes change with every episode.

However, this show is also amazing! I went into every episode not knowing what to expect, and ...

Different and Interesting - It's Okay to be confused!
    Update:
After finishing the series, I'd say the last few episodes weren't exactly great, a little disappointing. There was resolution but maybe not what viewers would want, which I can't decide if it was intentionally that way to mirror how human life is, or if it was indeed due to lack of better ideas from the writers/director..

Nonetheless I think the series is still worth watching for ...

    Slow ride to nowhere
This is a show about a guy helping girls through their emotional hangups by interacting with them through their dreams. If you like shows that are episodic in nature, with an emotional reward at the end, this might be for you. If you're looking for something with an interesting overarching plot, you wont find one outside of the individual episodes.

Note: I dropped this after 6 episodes so if ...

hardest anime to watch but worth it
This was seriously one of the saddest and hardest anime's to watch but worth it. I would still highly recommend this to any one who wants to watch an anime with some depth to it. You seriously need an open mind though and an understanding soul. It explores the many plights of women mostly.

    Witch Way Leads Home?
Definitely hard to categorize. The story jumps straight into magic and witches without the audience or the protagonist having any idea of what's happening. Our lead establishes early on that he's entered a dreamscape, but seems unsure as to what that might imply. And the sudden deus ex machina appearance of a dream researcher proves surprisingly unhelpful. But our guy Haruto has ...

  • I enjoyed the show! Kept me waiting for each new episode
I love the suspense of not know what's going to happen to the main character. Not all shows are like this. Most shows have a "it's going to be alright in the end" feel to it that i just hate. Love when shows keep me on edge with complicated plots. I also love the style of the artwork. Very different between episodes.

  • Binged watched it. Amazing
I just watch this whole anime yesterday and the stories were extremely surreal and had to do with real life things. The ending turned into a basic anime plot but overall the anime was amazing and it honestly touched my heart especially on ep 3 & 7. Also, the song at the ending of episode 7 was amazing. I would definitely recommend this to casual and hardcore anime fans.
