    Interesting plot and premise
It's hard to describe everything that happened in the first episode It's interesting might take a few eps to really know what's going on in this dream world and Haruto
decent series to watch I recommend it if u want something interesting and a mysterious sci-fi anime to watch

    Episode 1: Series has potential
Reminds me a little of No Game No Life. So far the plot is interesting. More questions were brought up than answers which gives it quite a bit to work with. However, it didn't do a lot to hook me in. I'm definitely excited to see what they do with it. It is a very great idea.

    Witch Way Leads Home?
Definitely hard to categorize. The story jumps straight into magic and witches without the audience or the protagonist having any idea of what's happening. Our lead establishes early on that he's entered a dreamscape, but seems unsure as to what that might imply. And the sudden deus ex machina appearance of a dream researcher proves surprisingly unhelpful. But our guy Haruto has ...

    A plodding and unrelatable story
This show makes a terrible first impression, spending its precious first few minutes dwelling on a selfish and irredeemably unlikable antagonist. When the protagonist is finally revealed, he is so utterly without personality or anything grounding him in reality that it's hard to continue paying attention.

It may get better, and honestly I tried to watch more, but I could not finish the first ...

A very creative trip down the rabbit hole. Dream-time!
This is a very creative take on reality, where the main protagonist, Haruto Tsukishiro, is dreaming and gets sucked into another dream by a misandric girl
and thus the tale begins. The colors are trippy and the animation is excellent; I rate it a 5/5 story, 5/5 animation, 4/5 on voice acting for the ...

    Graphics over Gameplay
At the time of this review, I've just finished the first episode of the series. Starting with the negatives of the show, let's talk about characters. When characters are introduced, there isn't a whole lot of information established about them. The protagonist is jaded and flavourless and the supporting characters are... hard to describe. There's a cat person who claims to be a scientist studying ...

    this is a horrible anime
this is a stupid anime that i fell asleep on it. the characters are odd and not in a good way and it just was too stupid to exists. there no story-line and you dont even get characters names until almost the end.the witches have no meaning to the story because their explanation it shallow and easily can side step

    Mix Feeling about this
I don't know if I like it or hate it. It is very confusing since I only learn very little about this anime. I understand that there was a game around this but I don't understand the plot from Episode 1. Watching Episode 1 causing me to become even more confuse. Facing witches while being stuck in the dream world saying he is just dreaming making this anime going down faster then I could say 18if

Weird, but in a good way, like Paprika
Okay so I just watched the first episode, and decided to give this a five star rating so far. It's concise and let's in from the very beginning that you're going to experience something surreal. I noticed a couple of silly reviews that clearly missed the point. If you don't like surreal shows, this is not for you, and you shouldn't rate it low because you can't appreciate it. In any case, I'm ...

A Boring Nightmare You Want to Wake Up From
The first episode of 18if is an absolute misfire of a show.

There's a good way to handle the "randomness" of dreams. The movie Paprika handles this expertly. Even though much of it is dreamlike, it establishes characters, tells you what's at stake, and gives you, the viewer, an anchor to be able to follow what's going through.

18if does the opposite of all these things.

    It took the ...
