  • an awesome anime to consider
to be honest I like this more than the parent anime, but I still love the parent anime too. The way how her story has built up and till now makes it worth that the anime is worth watching. Considering that season three is coming in late 2019 and it's been on hiatus for years to come. We all wanna see biri biriiiiiiiiii plus i really love the ops

  • side story that starts ok, but ends up certainly the best
Railgun is a side story to the A Certain Magical Index series. As such it has a lot of limits placed on it due to it having to play nice with the Index primary story. The first season suffers a lot from this, but the second season takes off like a rocket and delivers a great experience all the way to the end.

As a package Railgun is MUCH more consistent than Index. The focus is more ...

There is no show for me to watch.
10/10 never seen a white screen better than this, the white really works well with the white, and not only that, we also got to see the title. woah. It seems as though the title is actually in fact, inaccurate due to there being no episodes in the first place, but that's what all the cool shows do these days amirite my fellow kids?

  • Same Universe, Another Story
A Certain Magical Index may be the first Certain series, but Scientific Railgun gives you a different perspective of the Certain Universe, and it does not disappoint. Focusing on the Railgun Mikoto Misaka, a level 5 esper, she as well as her friends embrace the wonders of Academy City while fighting mad scientist and criminal underworld. The characters are very likable and relatable. The story is ...

    My Absolute Favorite Series
CR needs to get the licensing for this again. So bummed that CR and Funi split up. Really killing my queues. I'm hoping amends will be made, but otherwise I gotta wait and see where the better shows are. It's been a while since I had to look at separate sites for shows.

Misaka stole the show in Index so hard she got her own
One of the best shows ever IMO in an unique universe, Toaru Kagaku no Railgun has a far different tone from Toaru Majutsu no Index. One will get a slice of life feel from the first season of Railgun. The first arc of the second season is one of the best arcs ever in any anime.

  • Way better than Index
This spin-off is way better than A Certain Magical Index, with more like-able characters and less messy with its writing. The plot line feels cleaner and easier to understand, despite a bit of filler during season S. This show definitely deserves a season 3!

  • #48. Spin-off vs. Original.
The spin-off of the A Certain Magical Index series, A Certain Scientific Railgun. This time around focusing on one of Academy City's strongest psychics, Mikoto Misaka, an electricity manipulator known as "The Railgun."

This spin-off series for the most part is considered better than the original in the anime community, I certainly do agree with that. A Certain Scientific Railgun is a ...

  • My absolute favorite show
An excellent mix of slice-of-life, action, and friendship adventures serve to make this show excellent. Add in the amazing setting of Academy City and the powers of the students present, along with the realistic tiers of power levels and the dynamics that result from such. If you want to both feel good and be enraptured by the plot, I cannot recommend this show enough. (Skip episode 2 though if ...
