A Review from a Manga Reader
This is my first review I think so I have to put it here that I'm not a great reviewer.

I am also a HUGE Seo Kouji fan. So I am probably a great person to give a review of this for. As I have read all of his manga and watched all of his anime's that have come from his manga.

I'm just writing what I think comparing this to the manga and other Kouji Seo works. His main works being Suzuka, Kimi ...

A review from another manga reader
There are 260+ chapters in the manga, making up 27 volumes. There is budget for 12 episodes of anime. What to do, what to do? Of course a lot of details will not make it to the anime! Expecting the anime to cover the entire manga is not reasonable. What they tried to do is to show major events and capture the mood of the story. And I think they succeeded in doing that.

    If you have not ...

A decent ride, for the older crowd
A good adult sennin anime. While I initially thought it would be another high-school romance, dealing with a bunch of immature and irritating cast members. I was pleasantly surprised at the vast, and deep adult and real life traits depicted in the show.

A Complete Story with an Actual Ending
A boy chases the love of his life all the way to Tokyo to discover why she has broken off their long distance relationship. He makes lots of new friends along the way and begins to unravel his ex-girlfriend's secrets.
This is a beautiful story about love and loss.
    I really enjoyed it.

Pace is fast but great show
For those of you that had read the Manga you will like the show. Its tugs on the heart strings but its worth it. I suggest reading the Manga first and then coming here to watch the show for all it is Worth.

The main settings get much darker and more in depth in the books.

  • If you liked Scum's Wish you'll like this. And if you do, PLEASE SEEK HELP!
Not gonna go into any spoilers, but the first few episodes will have you on the edge of your seats as they were very well written. However, after the first half, the anime starts to deteriorate and people can pretty much just start guessing how it's going to end. From what i've been told, the manga is much better so i might try that next. In any case if you have some free time and about 6 hours ...

  • This anime was on point
Really and truly something had drawn my attention to this show and absolutely love it. The character development and how indecisive everyone was and the ups and downs of life was also displayed. The music is stuck in my head everytime I do something in real life because I enjoyed the songs and it's just great all around.

  • Great story, but maybe a bit unfinished
The first episode was a little choppy. Seems like they jumped around A LOT in it. The story took off from there though, and was great. However, it kind of felt like they just skimmed a few sub-story plots to focus on the main one. That doesn't mean the main one wasn't great, but would have been nice to see some sub-stories play out a bit more.

  • A Bit of a Let Down and Incomplete Story.
I enjoyed the original anime much more. You don't get to see the complete story is my number one reason and the other is I'm just not digging the animation so much. Plus compared to the manga.... eh. Its alright, but if you have been exposed to the manga and the original anime this is only eh.

  • Definitely not a waste of time!
Wow this anime started pretty slow but by ro 5 I was hooked. The plot is pretty nice and gets really emotional at the end. I would say to just bear through the slow flashback episodes at the start cuz it's worth it towards the latter half of the anime.
