    Fantastic new sports anime
Looks like another great sports anime with a difference. Interesting characters and I really like the MC. His job to overcome the inertia of one character and the delinquency of the others. Looks like a possible love interest as well. Looking forward to the next episode!

Looking good so far. Great sports anime
The fluid motion drawn out by the artists and editors is amazing. I expect a great future! 3 seasons hopefully. I love how there is realistic isomotions as Kurutami handles the ball.
Creating something that resembles real ballers makes me want to get up and play myself. Think I will!

I'm really excited for this anime!
I'm not really a fan of sports anime, but THIS GOT ME REVVED UP! The MC is great! I love his perseverance! The story looks really good and I love the animation! I can't wait for more episodes! Ok ok, I got too excited. Here's the plot: A kid that's short and gets bullied a lot enters his new high school for the first time, he heads to the basketball court straight away, but gets stopped by the ...

I've been looking for a sports anime!
This thing is kickass! Fun characters in the 1st episode and once they play basketball it gets a little technical like Ace of the Diamond! I'm looking forward to learning more about basketball and seeing 4 thugs learn the game! Just go in blind n have a good time!

    Exquisitely Ordinary Yet Captivating
For fans of basketball, Ahiru no Sora sticks true to the sports roots: game rules, breakdown of plays, and a typical high school life in Japan. An array of characters makes the story very compelling. You already get a hint of each uprising character without it dragging the story. The show has a wonderful soundtrack composed by Hiroaki Tsutsumi, one of the composers for Dr. Stone.

    Too slow and tedious.
I was super skeptical about this anime from the description. That skepticism grew after the 1st episode, but decided to stick with it for a bit. The 2nd episode was better. I still found it slow, but I began to like the idea of a "bad gang boys turn good" story line. I thought it could have a lot of potential.

Unfortunately after the 3rd episode, I'm throwing in the towel. Although I ...

  • Sports Anime Lovers Revel
If you're like me and absolutely adore sports animes then Aihiru no Sora is an excellent pickup. The main character is quickly likable, and while some may draw some similarities to Haikyu with a short protagonist in a tall person's sport, their story lines are entirely unique to one another.

In fact, they are rather opposite. Haikyu's team is a well rounded group of individuals that support and ...

Hard to Know What's Worse: the Writing or the Animation... Just Kidding, it's the Animation.
I'm not normally one to write reviews here, but after seeing the number of... frankly puzzling positive reviews this show has been getting, I felt compelled to play the part of the contrarian.

The last few years have been a great time for fans of sports anime. A new wave of great shows - Hajime no Ippo: New Challenger, Kuroko no Basket, Baby Steps, Haikyuu, Ace of Diamond, and Hinomaru Sumo, ...

  • Kuruko's No Basketball with a more normal Feels
Great anime. Not as Insane and superhuman as Kurukos basketball but I think being able to dribble and have amazing ball-handling is more realistic than being able to pass like a ghost. Especially if you are short. Give a shot Im sure you will like it.
