  • A Funny Love/Hate (Mostly Hate) Relationship
I have a very love/hate relationship with this anime and it's manga. On the one hand, it's hilarious and the slapstick style of comedy has me in stitches. On the other, the childish antics of the main character anger me.

The Love/Hate (mostly hate) relationship between Yoshiko and Akuru (Akkun to her) shows the contrast between the two characters very well. Akkun is hardworking and studious, ...

  • You can't help but laugh
The comedy is great and not forced. It leaves you asking for more since it's 4 shorts packed into 12-minute episodes.

Not every show is tailored to everyone. This one breaks the norm of a tsundere girl beating the guy up senseless and then cowers into her conscience to justify her abuse for love. With that said, the male protagonist does not beat her senseless but to bring her senses back to ...

  • AHO-GIRL is adorable!
I love Yoshiko's character, I think she's super cute and funny. I love her dynamic with Akkun. It makes for sweet and hilarious situational comedy! If you're looking for something with a deep, moving plot then so far I'd say look elsewhere, but if you are looking for something to make you giggle and isn't too long, this anime is a great option!

  • I Actually Like It For What It Is
For what this show is, being a pure comedy with only 12 minute long episodes and no real story, it's actually pretty good. Well, most of the time. This show can be either extremely funny or extremely annoying.

The main girl, Yoshiko, is honestly a pretty lovable idiot. Her stupidity leads to some of the best comedy I've since in anime. Although she can get REALLY damn annoying at times. She ...

  • This show is absolutely hilarious
Every week so far this show has left me wishing the episodes were longer. My favorite part of the show is when the childhood friend essentially just uses wrestling moves on the main character. Everything from pile drivers, to spinning throws headfirst into trees, its just ridiculous. Summer anime #1 in my opinion.

  • Surprisingly Hilarious
I had low expectations going into this show. I mean... really low. In fact, I was rather surprised by how hilarious this show actually is. The show's creators were smart enough to take the humor way over the top, with physical slapstick turned up to eleven. Otherwise, a show about a stupid girl would just be sort of sad.

Yoshiko is charming enough to pull the role off, and Akkun plays a ...

  • Haven't laughed this hard since Danshi Koukousei no Nichijou
I don't tend to be too picky with my comedy anime as I find enjoyment with the ones I view, however Aho-Girl has knocked my expectations out of the park.

The gags are varied even though they revolve around Yoshiko being an idiot and I'm constantly laughing out loud.

I definitely recommend watching this anime as it'll be one to remember.

  • I laughed I cried and
I did not pee myself laughing though.

Its a really solid comedy with great timing. The series summary is surprisingly accurate. It really is purely about the misadventures of Yoshiko. Also the though the twelve and a minute run time is random much like this show it does not overstay its welcome.

If you are looking for a laugh I highly recommend it. It is mostly slap stick and dialogue ...

  • It's pretty good anime
I'm giving it five stars to balance out all of the triggered feminists.

I would probably give it three stars if I didn't want to balance it out. As my title says, it's pretty good but not that good. I wasn't disappointed but I wasn't surprised either.
