    Goood, then derails.
The anime starts off great, and follows the manga up to a certain point. Its well animated and I enjoyed watching what I read in the manga come to life. However, towards the end it just skips an entire section of the manga (probably cuz it was "to violient" and "depressing") and it just gets horrible. The story doesn't hold up to what the manga is going for (which is a hundred times better). The ...

Starts off good and true to the manga, but....
Towards the end, it just feels rushed an sloppy. Akame ga Kill is a good example of how not to do an adaption. I have no problem if the anime deviates from the manga, as long as its done in a way that feels natural to the series. Akame does not though. I can't give specific examples, as that would give away the story, but I do feel as if the last few episodes just felt rushed as all hell. All ...

Started great but as it went on....
I really just felt like I watched something like Gantz again... awesome beginning, cool concept. But at the end the whole thing just fell apart, it felt like they were just dropping characters due to lazy writing. The first few deaths were well written, and had impact on the story and its characters... but by the end it became expected, very over done, and failed to carry any impact at all.

    Extremely Fun to Watch
I've never seen anything quite like this anime. One minute it'll make you laugh so hard that you're suffocating to death on the ground, and the next it's going to make you shed tears all over your floor.

The story follows a completely average MC (by that, I mean he isn't OP, but he isn't weak either). This gives plenty of room for him to grow in strength and character, and so far, his growth ...

Just when I thought, Akame ga Kill! would be another cliche, run of the mill anime, after watching several episodes, it hit me like a ton of bricks
The first couple of episodes are filled with cliches and extremely cheesy scenes. The story felt like it was rushed and was written by a middle schooler. The audience is pretty much told almost all of the main characters' past through a very somewhat predictable, corny way. The main plot of revenge is very run of the mill. The only thing that kept me watching and entertained was its animation and ...

    Welcome To Edgelord City
People are saying that the show starts off good and then gets bad, but I disagree. The first episode was not very good at all. Outside from that one music number, but I can listen to Le Chant De Roma online whenever, so that isn't a good reason for me to watch the show.

It starts off with a cold opening that explains how corrupt the Capital city is with a montage of torture and execution. But ...

    From bad to worse, unfortunately.
I believe this anime would have good potential, if the story wasn't so hasted, No character development and shallow motivations for a plot that could have been better exploited.
Everyone gets killed before we have the time to grow on the characters, so by the time they die, it really means nothing. Also, the title refers to one of the main characters, but only on the title. Akame has near zero ...

    Amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have been a big fan of the manga for quite some time, I remember when it was just a dream for Akame ga Kiru to become an anime and guess what our dreams have come true. First of all the plot, is really good and follows the manga well. The plot is intense and sad but still has comedy relief that fits (I have loads to say bout the plot but I'm just gonna cut it short to that). Now the characters ...
